The 2021 iteration marked the triumphant resumption of the plastics processing industry. The edition took place as a live event at Messe Friedrichshafen between the 12th and 16th of October, 2021. The event included strict coronavirus safeguards. Among them were attendees needing to show valid 3G certificates. The event featured a total of 1 470 exhibitor firms. 40% of them were from abroad, including countries such as Switzerland.
Fakuma 2023
The 2023 iteration of Fakuma improved upon the success of the 2021 format. It occurred in Messe Friedrichshafen between the 17th and 21st of October 2023. The iteration received 1 636 exhibitants with 44% travelling from abroad.
Fakuma 2024
Fiera Fakuma 2024 occurred as a live trade expo between the 15th and 19th of October 2024 in Messe Friedrichshafen. It featured 1 639 exhibiting firms from 41 nations, 47.5% from abroad. They were overviewed by 36 675 visitants.

Our trip to the EMO Hanover fair was successful, overall it was a great trip with lots to see and do in Hanover.
We were very satisfied with the accommodation, although we were initially looking for a hotel, we actually preferred the apartment accommodation to that of a hotel.
The service we received from Jane was GREAT.
From the moment Anton sent the request for accommodation, we received a number of accommodation options within our price range.
We have received prompt detailed responses to all the questions we had.
The payment process was simple and easy.
The location of the accommodation was perfect, a nice quiet neighbourhood with easy access to trains for transport and a number of restaurants within walking distance.

When I had issues/questions, etc. Tom always replied immediately. He offered us several hotels, as well the Pentahotel where we stayed. This hotel was lovely. Personnel was very friendly and helpful, rooms were nice, breakfast was good and we had the opportunity to eat in our hotel for diner which was amazing after such a long day at the airshow. The rate for the hotel was reasonable. It was near the upper end of our budget, but good value I think, considering the following feedback from staff:
“Hotel was fine, rooms were good and had no problems. Only potential issue was the limited parking, but this didn’t affect me last week.”
