Covid-19 Update

CPhI Worldwide 2022 will take place between November 1st and November 3rd 2022 at Messe Frankfurt. The venue will have strict COVID-19 prevention measures in place for the live exhibition. The safety protocols will include:

  • Attendants must have a digital ticket or badge accompanied by the possession of a Green Pass. The Green Pass is valid if attendants meet one of three conditions: 
    1. Completed a vaccination cycle; 
    2. Proof of a negative rapid molecular or antigen test conducted within the last 48 hours
    3. Has recovered from a Covid-19 infection during the last 3 to 6 months
  • All participants will have their body temperature measured upon entry. Participants must always wear face masks and maintain a social distance of at least 1 metre. To help with maintaining social distance, Fiera Milano will feature several changes. Such will include reminder floor markings.
  • Attendees should note that the event will be paperless. They must register in advance as there will be no on-site registration kiosks. Also, they should print their badge at home or have it available as a digital document on their phone. They can use, for the task, the dedicated online app.

CPhI Worldwide takes place at a different venue every year. Informa PLC organises the event for 3 days. Exceptions about the duration of CPhI are possible. For instance, the 2021 edition included a digital aspect that was available for a full month. Visiting hours tend to vary for each group of attendees. Exhibitors for instance can enter the event between 8 m and 6:30 pm for the first 2 days. For the last day, they can attend between 8 am and 4 pm. regular visitors can attend between 10:30 am and 6:30 pm for the first 2 days. On the final day of the fair, they can take part between 10:30 am and 4 pm. Visitors who have Early Access, VIP, or a Plus pass can attend for the first 2 days between 9:30 am and 6:30 pm. On the final day, they can attend between 9:30 am and 6 pm. 

The event takes place at different venues, such as Fiera Milano and Messe Frankfurt. Each of the exhibition centres where the event has or will occur has a convenient location. For example, Fiera Milano is a 30-minute taxi commute from the Milano airport. Likewise, you can reach the venue from the central railway station in 20 minutes by taking the metro. Messe Frankfurt is also easy to access, as it has extensive public transport links. This includes trains that allow reaching it in 17 minutes from the central station. 2019

The 2019 edition of CPhI Worldwide marked a new attendant number record. A total of 48,961 attendees including over 2,500 exhibitors visited the fair. Over 170 countries attended the edition at Messe Frankfurt, Germany. The edition took place between 5.11.2019 – 7.11.2019 as a live exhibition. 

2021

The 2021 edition of CPhI Worldwide took place as a hybrid event. The event consisted of two parts with different durations. The two aspects of the fair were a live exhibition and a complementing digital platform. The face-to-face expo featured strict Covid-19 prevention measures in place including a 3G entry rule. The live exhibition took place between 9.11.2021 and 11.11.2021. The Digital platform was available between 25.10.2021 and 19.11.2021.
