FeuerTrutz 2021
The 2021 edition of FeuerTrutz took place as a hybrid event because of the pandemic. The edition consisted of a face-to-face fair at Messe Nuremberg, combined with a digital trade show. The live aspect of the exhibition featured the latest coronavirus precautions. Over 3,500 live visitors, 180 exhibitors, and 1200 digital users attended the edition.
FeuerTrutz 2022
Similar to the 2021 edition, the 2022 rendition of Feuertrutz also took place as a hybrid event. It comprised a live trade show at Messe Nuremberg and a complementary digital platform. The locale did not incorporate coronavirus precautions due to the repealing of the pandemic restrictions. This was quite welcome by the participants, including the 206 exhibiting firms (14% represented a foreign country) and around 4 300 visitants from 30 nations.
FeuerTrutz 2023
The 2023 iteration of FeuerTrutz occurred between 21-22.06.2023 as a live trade exposition. It received 247 exhibiting companies from 17 nations, with 17% travelling from abroad. This signified a 20% in exhibiting attendance compared to 2022. They presented wares to more than 5 500 visitants from 38 nations, with 86% having influence on procurement decisions. This signified a 30% increase compared to 2022.
FeuerTrutz 2024
The 2024 iteration of the event was a live trade exposition hosted between 26-27.06.2024. It featured more than 270 exhibiting firms and around 6 300 visitants from 44 nations (50% from abroad). 9 out of each 10 visitors were executives.
FeuerTrutz 2025
The 2025 iteration of the event was a live trade expo hosted between 25-26.06.2025. It featured 266 exhibiting firms from 22 nations and approximately 6 600 visitants from 46 countries (10% from abroad) on more than 7 300 m2.

We could walk from the venue to the Messe Dusseldorf exhibition centre which was a big advantage for us. So the location was key and a big tick.
The hotel is of course very old and the rooms are very small with no lift so up 2 flights of stairs with bags for everyone.
Restaurant is popular with the locals and often cannot fit you in for dinner and wont let you charge back to the rooms.
Staff are friendly and breakfast is good.

Thanks for the follow up on our ProWein 24 trip.
The Mercure served its purpose for us as we were only there a couple of nights - and didn't really spend too much time at the hotel.
We understood hotel was a bit further out (and this was reflected in the pricing) - only slight negative was length of time it took for a taxi to arrive. Would have hoped hotel had a contract with taxi firm to ensure guests don't have too long to wait once ordered. We learned from our initial mistake and ensured we had pre-ordered a taxi for return to airport.

Indeed, our overall satisfaction was great as it was very close to the fair (walking distance 10 min max), with a decent breakfast and 24-h available reception.
The room was very clean and the bed was super comfy although it would be perfect if there was a table and chair. We got a free room cleaning service for staying every 4 nights.
The hotel was very close to the train station, and to a very big mall which has Carrefour and a food court. Easy check out as well.

All went well. The hotel rooms were very small, but the staff friendly and the breakfast was very fine.

In my opinion it was a great location for us. Staff was courteous and nice. Rooms were spacious. Breakfasts were very good with lots of choices. There was a. It of outside noise that bothered the odd person but nothing that was unbearable.
I would definitely stay there again if we were to go back to Hannover.
