ABOUT THE VENUE
Messe Nurnberg ranks as one of the top exhibition centres in Germany and operates from within the very popular Langwasser district in Nuremberg. The exhibition centre first opened in 1974. Since then, it has seen the addition of a new congress centre in 2005 and a further expansion in 2014. The second expansion fully modernised the complex by including Halls 3A and 3C, designed by Zaha Hadid. They serve as examples of modern, sustainable architecture. The exhibition centre has 16 halls in total that cover a ground of 180,000 m² in size. Exhibitors also benefit from an outdoor exhibition space of 50,000 m². The congress centre, NCC, offers 50 congress halls and rooms that can fit up to 12,800 participants at one time.
