care:xpo 2027 will take place between the 20th and 22nd of April 2027. Messe Essen in Germany will serve as the hosting location for the face-to-face exhibition.

care:xpo unites the various European professional communities for elderly care and is a first-rate purchasing platform for equipment, products, services and furnishings. The trade fair is based in Germany and takes place every year in April. Care:xpo rotates between cities – Nuremberg and as of 2022, Essen. The switch from Hanover to Essen was made in order to help the trade fair continue to grow. Care:xpo is not just a place to research market trends and compare newly released products. The trade fair actively works towards sharing knowledge and know-how with a congress programme and a dedicated area for training and education. Now that we’re entering the third year of the pandemic, the elderly care sector faces a lot more challenges in how to deliver the best care and minimise health risks.

The coronavirus pandemic has left its mark on the elderly care sector and work conditions and standards change on a regular basis. That’s why one of the selling points of care:xpo is its Congress, which runs across all three days of the trade fair and has a very extensive programme. Past Iterations
Care:xpo 2021
Between 6-8.07.2021, there was a virtual edition care:xpo. The edition featured 200 exhibiting firms who presented the latest nursing care solutions. They included 40 start-up companies. Around 24 000 visitants attended the virtual trade fair.
Care:xpo 2022
Care:xpo 2022 marked the restart of the live editions for the trade fair. The event took place in a face-to-face format between 26-28.04.2022 in Messe Essen. The venue did not implement strict coronavirus precautions due to the country lifting the respective regulations during the previous weeks. Care:xpo 2022 received over 500 exhibiting firms and more than 12 000 visitants. Around 80% of the visiting had a significant influence on the decision-making process.
Care:xpo 2023
The 2023 iteration of the event continued the positive trend initiated by the 2022 restart iteration and improved upon its success. The event was hosted as a hybrid exposition between 25-27.04.2023 in Messe Essen. It featured over 21 000 visitants and 570 exhibiting firms, including around 1 500 digital participants and more than 50 start-up companies. 92% of the visiting rated the iteration as excellent, 87% will attend the next care:xpo, and 84% would recommend the event to others.
Care:xpo 2024
The 2024 iteration occurred between 23-25.04.2024 in Messe Essen. It featured more than 500 exhibiting firms. They were overviewed by around 18 000 visitants.
Care:xpo 2025
The 2025 iteration occurred between 08-10.04.2025 in Messe Essen. It was attended by 560 exhibiting firms from 14 nations and around 22 000 visitants on 36 000 m2.
Care:xpo 2026
The 2026 iteration of care:xpo took place as a live trade expo. It featured within more than 14 500 m², 18 000 visitants and 500 exhibiting firms from 16 nations.

Thank you, it went very well. Hotel was nice and I liked the location very much. Would have been nice with a chair and maybe a small desk in the room, but no biggie.
I will probably buy via our cruise network next time, I usually do, so not relevant.

Thanks for everything, sorry for the confusion. I still own you a feedback from Hamburg. The Apartment Hotel - The location was not that bad, considering you are going there for the SMM show not for holiday. I had a subway station 10-12 min walk distance which was very useful , 3.20 Euro /day I was going back and forward from the exhibition center. - At the Hotel .base floor, they have a small restaurant and bar, but near the hotel at a 15m min range walk, you can find something to eat like, Pizza`s, McDonalds, Chinese Restaurant, Turkish Restaurant, German beer house with brezzels and sausages, etc - The room was a decent one, you can feel is an old Hotel by the building construction and the furniture vintage alike that gives you the impression of the `90`s, but they were clean, and looking good. - The room cleaning was ok, and also the guys from the front desk were quite polite and helpful. - Breakfast area was large which I like it the most, you did not feel crowded having many tables where to sit. The diversity was ok, nothing special, but looking clean and lots of personnel available for the coffer, table cleaning/arranging, etc - The down points are that rooms do not have A/C , the single room, has two small beds with separate mattresses put together, so if you want to roll over you will have a gap in the middle, so anyway you will use only one single bed. They say that the tap water is drinkable in Germany , but a hotel that respects its status, should offer complementary water bottle every day for the ones who prefer to stay safe, there wa sonly one 1L bottle at the first day and that`s it, I mean it costs 1Euro , you can add it to the room costs. The bathroom was only with liquid soap, no shower gel or shampoo. This is the most honest feedback you will get…

your support and professionality has been very appreciated by us. Always available and ready to answer.
Hotel rooms were not that good at least the standard room was too small and old and very noisy as well; bed not comfortable. I guess that for that price at least superior rooms should be the perfect deal with an hotel like that. Good position close to metro and exhibition very easy to reach. As well not so far from center. Receptionists were not so prepared as they always ask to pay our already included breakfast and their german or english language wasn't always that good.

The trip was great and the fair was very interesting.
When it comes to the hotel, the rooms were nice and clean and the staff was very polite. It happens that all the rooms we got were family rooms with 4 beds each. So regarding our last minute request for an extra room or bed for 1 person, there was plenty of space to accommodate. I don't know where the communication with the hotel went wrong and they didn't tell you that there was enough room for one extra person.
Regardless, everything else was good.
