Automechanika Johannesburg 2022 marked the successful return of the event and of the automotive industry within South Africa. The event took place as a face-to-face trade fair at the JHB Johannesburg Expo Centre between 07.06.2022 and 10.06.2022. It received 191 exhibitors which presented their wares on an event space of more than 8 600m2. Additionally, the event attracted 5 488 trade visitors from 13 countries.
Automechanika Johannesburg 2023
The 2023 iteration of the event occurred as a live trade exposition between 05-07.09.2023 at the Johannesburg Expo Center. The iteration featured more than 400 exhibiting firms. This included brands such as Daimler Truck South Africa.
Automechanika Johannesburg 2024
The 2024 iteration of the event was a live trade expo between 19-21.11.2024 at the Johannesburg Expo Center. It featured more than 200 exhibiting firms from 15 nations.
Automechanika Johannesburg 2025
The 2025 iteration took place as a live trade expo in the Gallagher Convention Centre between 28-30.10.2025. It was attended by 360 exhibiting firms from 16 nations.

The average opinion of our people was: The rooms were really o.k., good bed, enough space etc., and there was an easy access to the public transportation. What they did not like was the poor breakfast. Further two of them noticed empty bottles on the room at their arrival, that have not been removed during their whole stay. That's no good room service.

Thank you for email. Everything went well during our stay. The hotel allowed early check-in. Room is new and clean, but is too small, and the hotel is located in good location as it is convenient to public transportation and walking distance to the old town. Only few points, it's a bit noisy surrounding(from the road), especially at night. The room does not seal and not well sound protected. With the room rate it would be good if the hotel served BF. Thank you.
