The 2027 edition of MARCA Bologna will be held as a face-to-face exhibition between the 13th and 14th of January 2027. Bologna Fiere will be the location of the trade fair.
Marca Bologna – A Brief Introduction
The private label industry in Italy is in full swing and MARCA Bologna opens the doors so that you can get a piece of the action. MARCA Bologna focuses on fostering business relations, so it’s heavily populated by manufacturers, suppliers, distributers and retailers – basically the entire retail chain is present. Although mostly focused on the Italian market, Marca Bologna is open to the rest of Europe and trade delegations from 32 countries also make their presence. In terms of products, visitors get to experience the best in food products, feminine, adult and baby care products, household and leisure products, pet products, packaging solutions, service companies, technical press and associations, and general merchandising. MARCA Bologna 2022
MARCA Bologna 2022 occurred between 12.04.2022 – 13.04.2022 as a live trade fair. It was held at the Bologna Fiere in Bologna, Italy, amidst Covid-19 safety measures, such as social distancing and mandatory face masks. The edition featured 12,000 visitors and 900 exhibitors on 23,000 m2 of exhibition space.
MARCA Bologna 2023
MARCA Bologna 2023 exceeded organiser expectations and improved upon the success of the 2022 iteration. The event, held between the 18th and 19th of January 2023, was attended by more than 17 000 visitants and over 900 exhibiting firms who presented more than 2 500 brands. Additionally, over 200 foreign buyers took part in the iteration. The hosting location, Bologna Fiere, did not feature coronavirus safeguards due to the removal of the country's pandemic restrictions.
MARCA Bologna 2024
MARCA Bologna 2024 featured 26 000 m2 of event space and displayed the wares of more than 1 100 exhibiting firms. Furthermore, it was attended by over 250 foreign buyers.
MARCA Bologna 2025
The 2025 iteration of MARCA Bologna displayed the wares of over 1 340 exhibiting firms from more than 15 nations on more than 35 000 m2. They were overviewed by more than 23 000 visitants. This represented an increase of 23%, 26% and 14%, respectively.
MARCA Bologna 2026
The 2026 iteration of MARCA Bologna featured over 1 540 exhibiting firms and over 25 000 visitants.

Hotel rooms were not that good at least the standard room was too small and old and very noisy as well; bed not comfortable. I guess that for that price at least superior rooms should be the perfect deal with an hotel like that. Good position close to metro and exhibition very easy to reach. As well not so far from center. Receptionists were not so prepared as they always ask to pay our already included breakfast and their german or english language wasn't always that good.

A while ago, I corresponded with Pashalis Drakidis about hotels for the Anuga 2027 trade show. If you have an updated list of hotel options for that time, we’d love to see it.
Please keep in mind, however, we'd prefer not pay for the hotel just yet for the Anuga trade show; we would prefer options that allow for free cancellation.
The same or similar requirements as for the hotel at Sial 2026:
