The Amsterdam RAI hosts the International Broadcasting Convention (IBC or IBC Amsterdam) once per year. The organiser’s same-named site is also the IBC Amsterdam’s venue of choice. The IBC is among the media and broadcasting industry's most pivotal events. This is because it provides an opportunity to learn about the most up-to-date innovations. Attendees can also network and show their latest products at the event.

IBC 2019 occurred between the 13th and 17th of September 2019. The hosting location of the event was the Amsterdam RAI in the Netherlands. The iteration featured over 56 000 participants, including more than 1 700 exhibitor firms.
IBC Amsterdam 2022
IBC 2022 occurred between the 9th and 12th of September 2022 as a face-to-face trade show. It marked the event's outstanding return to live editions after the pandemic outbreak. The IBC 2022 in Amsterdam received over 37,000 visitors, more than 250 lecturers, and over 1 000 exhibitor firms. Amsterdam RAI, the hosting location, did not feature coronavirus safeguards due to the removal of the pandemic restrictions.

IBC 2023 occurred between the 15th and 18th of September 2023 as a live trade exposition. The iteration, like the 2022 return format, did not feature coronavirus precautions. The live exposition received 43 065 attendants, including 1 250 exhibiting firms, from 170 participating nations.

Happy to work with Tess but the hotel was not that good. It was old and loud and the furniture was outdated. The hotel had 5 floors and 4 of them were renovated but we got rooms in the old part. Overall its central and within nice location.

Of course, the difference in service quality, in comparison with the hotel in Germany, it is felt, the level is lower and the service staff - surly. But good news are that the exhibitors needed hotel only during the nights as the day-time was very busy (only weather could be better.....).
