The Great Yorkshire Show promotes development and growth in the agriculture sector in North Yorkshire, and the show has managed to rise to being the third-biggest show in the whole of the UK. It is precisely what makes the Great Yorkshire Show a platform unlike any other for farmers and local animal breeders. There are numerous animal competitions that are run at the Great Yorkshire Showground in Harrogate, which total to over 8500 animals.

The Great Yorkshire Show 2022
The 2022 edition occurred as a live event between 12-15.07.2022. The Great Yorkshire Showground did not incorporate coronavirus precautions because of the country repealing its pandemic restrictions. 140,000 visitors attended the event.
The Great Yorkshire Show 2023
The Great Yorkshire Show 2023 occurred between 11-14.07.2023 in a live format. Similar to the 2022 iteration, it did not feature coronavirus precautions. The event was attended by 140 000 visitants and over 500 exhibiting stands.
The Great Yorkshire Show 2024
The GYS 2024 took place between 09-12.07.2024 in a live format at the Great Yorkshire Showground. It was attended by more than 780 exhibiting stands and 140 000 visitants.
