Update

Organisers have scheduled the 2026 edition of FIBO in Messe Cologne between the 16th and 19th of April 2026. The event format will be a live trade format.

Preface

FIBO (FIBO Köln/FIBO Messe/FIBO Expo/FIBO Exhibition) is the premiere European wellness and fitness sector trade exposition. It is a leadership event for specialists ranging from athletes and experts to hobbyists. Founded in 1985, FIBO Köln is the central learning and presentation hub for learning for the most up-to-the-minute innovations and trends. It is one of Messe Cologne’s annual exhibitions.

FIBO Messe is a high-profile event attended by over 145 000 attendees. For example, one edition featured 1 105 exhibiting companies and 145 000 visitants. One hundred thirty-three countries visit the fair, including China, the United States, Spain, the Commonwealth of Australia, Brazil, and the Republic of South Africa.

About FIBO

The FIBO Expo’s extensive support programme enables the completion of various business goals, such as networking. This is done via the presentation of diverse sub-events. It gathers in one location physical therapists and fitness studio specialists. It is where specialists learn about up-to-the-minute healthcare therapy or training techniques. Professionals can additionally examine central subjects such as digital health.

Another educative event in the schedule of the FIBO exhibition is the European Health Futures Forum. It is the leading congress for decision-makers such as manufacturers, experts, and others. It is the location where such specialists discuss innovative concepts and e-commerce developments. The Fitness & Health Corner is the leading event for healthcare and fitness professionals. It allows specialists to expand their knowledge through lectures and panel discussions. The topics are often current trends, such as the pandemic.

FIBO 2025

FIBO 2025 was a live trade expo held between the 10th and 13th of April 2025 in Messe Cologne. It featured over 1 200 exhibiting firms and 154 748 visitants from 129 nations. The iteration represented the 40th anniversary of the event.

FIBO 2024

FIBO 2024 was a live trade exposition that took place between the 11th and 14th of April 2024 in Messe Cologne. The event featured more than 1 000 exhibiting firms and 129 668 visitants.

FIBO 2023

FIBO 2023 continued the success of the 2022 iteration. It attracted 867 exhibiting companies and 106 146 visitants.  The event occurred as a live trade fair between the 13th and 16th of April 2023 in Messe Cologne without implementing coronavirus safeguards due to the country removing its pandemic restrictions.

FIBO 2022

FIBO Köln 2022, hosted between the 7th and 10th of April 2022, occurred as a live trade exposition in Messe Cologne. The venue did not feature coronavirus safeguards due to the removal of the pandemic restrictions in earlier months. This was quite welcome for the 51 720 visitants from 109 nations and 500 exhibiting companies. The iteration signified the restart of the event after the postponement and cancellation of FIBO 2021 and FIBO 2020.
