Computex Taipei – A Brief Introduction

Computex Taipei proudly wears the title as Asia’s biggest computer exhibition and is only second in the world after CeBIT. The international exhibition takes place once a year in Taipei, Taiwan and is unique in the fact that it’s held in three different exhibition venues in the city – Taipei WTC, Taipei International Convention Center and TWTC Nangang. Computex Taipei 2021

The 2021 edition of the event took place in a digitalised format because of the pandemic. It featured pre-eminent exhibiting companies from 34 nations, with several having dedicated pavilions. Among them were GIGABYTE and the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development. 70% of the digital fair's attendees were first-time visitors. More than 20 CEOs and senior executives took part as keynote speakers at the fair. The Digital fair featured a multifarious event schedule, incorporating live-streamed keynotes and forums. It also included virtual displays, with the most searched keyword being Gaming.

Computex Taipei 2022

The 2022 edition took place between 24-27.05.2022. It was a hybrid event that comprised a digital platform and a face-to-face exhibition. It received around 10 000 visitants from 63 countries and 400 exhibiting firms from 17 nations on 9 000 m2.

Computex Taipei 2023

The 2023 iteration continued the upward trend established by the 2022 format and improved upon the success of the 2019 one. The format received 47 594 visitants from 150 nations, signifying a 12% increase in the visiting rate compared to 2019. The participant group included around 400 start-up teams from 22 countries. It also featured 141 hosted vendees from 37 nations.

Computex Taipei 2024

Computex Taipei 2024 continued the upward trend established by the previous iterations. It featured the wares of 1 500 exhibiting firms from 36 nations, including 400 start-ups from over 20 countries. They were overviewed by more than 85 000 visitants.
