CHINAPLAS – A Brief Introduction

CHINAPLAS 2022
CHINAPLAS 2022 took place as a hybrid event – a face-to-face fair complemented by a digital platform. It occurred at the National Exhibition & Convention Center. The venue featured strict coronavirus precautions, such as social distancing. Around 3 554 exhibiting firms from 21 countries participated in the event.
CHINAPLAS 2023
The 2023 iteration was a live edition at the Shenzhen World Exhibition & Convention Center. It featured coronavirus precautions throughout its 380 000 m2 such as social distancing. The event received 3 905 exhibiting firms from 38 nations and 248 222 visitants from 149 countries.
CHINAPLAS 2024
Chinaplas 2024's location was the National Exhibition and Convention Center (NECC) in Hongqiao, Shanghai. The event was held as a live trade exposition between 23-26.04.2024 and did not incorporate coronavirus precautions. It occurred on 380 000 m2 of event space and received more than 326 000 attendants. This included 321 879 visitants and over 5 500 exhibiting firms. This represented a 30% and 12% increase in visitor and exhibitor attendance rates, respectively. Additionally, more than 80% of the exhibiting and 23% of the visiting group were from abroad.
CHINAPLAS 2025
Chinaplas 2025 was held as a live trade expo between 15-18.04.2025 in NECC. It featured more than 4 500 exhibiting firms and over 281 200 visitants. Over 24% of the visiting group were from abroad.

We enjoyed the Fair. There was certainly lots to see. Unfortunately the fair did not have any fashion or jewelry or purses which would have been of interest to us. Is there a fair that focuses on those items. All in all we did enjoy the vast array of products on display at the fair and enjoyed many interesting conversations with retailers and distributors.

Many thanks your email. Nothing to say about your service, perfect ! Appreciate very much your good communication. I was very happy to have for the first time a hotel very close to the ANUGA (which gave me time to do running daily after the exhibitionJ) The hotel was good. It is a pity however that no meal was served (except the breakfast) while the Ibis hotel close to Ibis Budget was serving meals at dinner. I was also disappointed to book for a taxi at the hotel that never came. Fortunately, I went by foot to take a taxi outside in order to avoid missing my train.
