Shenzhen World Exhibition & Convention Center

The Shenzhen World Exhibition & Convention Center (SWECC) is one of China's leading and most impressive venues. It is an event complex that was completed in two phases, with the final stage taking place in 2019. It features a ground area of 1.2142 million m2 and a build-up area of 1.6 million m2. This includes 500,000 m2 of exhibition space distributed between 19 exhibition halls which are aligned symmetrically along a 1.75 km corridor. Sixteen of them feature a single-level, column-less area of 20,000 m2. Two of the halls also feature 20,000 m2 yet feature columns. There is also an exposition hall with 50,000 m2 and an outdoor one with 35,000 m2. Complementing the exhibition spaces are 108 meeting rooms, including 47 VIP ones. Access to the site is granted via five entrances. The venue features modern amenities, including 51,000 m2 of catering facilities, of which 25,000 m2 form a kitchen area. There are also 9,688 parking spaces for cars and 2,318 parking spaces for trucks.
