Past Iterations

Art Basel 2021

Art Basel 2021 featured high-quality presentations between the 24th and 26th of September 2021. The event was a hybrid trade exhibition. Art Basel Live was the digital medium which complemented the in-person fair held at Messe Basel. The in-person aspect of the event had strict coronavirus safeguards in place. Art Basel 2023

The 2023 iteration continued the upward trend established by the 2022 and 2021 formats. The hybrid art exposition received 82 000 visitants and 284 exhibiting galleries from 36 nations (21 newcomers and 12 debutants). The format occurred between the 15th and 18th of June 2023. 

Art Basel 2024

The Art Basel Fair 2024 continued the upward trend established by the previous iterations of the event. The art exposition featured the presented wares of 285 exhibiting galleries from 40 nations (22 newcomers) and 91 000 visitants, including over 250 attending museums and institutions. The format occurred between the 13th and 16th of June 2024.

Art Basel 2025

The Art Basel 2025 in Switzerland featured the presented wares of around 290 exhibiting galleries from 42 nations and 88 000 visitants, including over 250 attending museums and institutions. The live format occurred between the 19th and 22nd of June 2025.  

Art Basel 2026

Art Basel 2026 in Switzerland occurred between the 18th and 21st of June, 2026. It featured the wares of 290 exhibiting galleries from 43 nations and 90 000 visitants from 103 countries, including representatives from over 270 museums and foundations.
