TrendSet 2026

Update

TrendSet GmbH is proceeding with plans for TrendSet Summer 2026, which will run in Munich, Germany, from the 11th of January to the 13th of July 2026.

Preface

The TrendSet trade fair in Munich is one of the leading events for the consumer goods and lifestyle sectors. It is held once every six months in Messe Munich. The iterations are hosted once in winter and once in summer/autumn. This enables participants to observe the latest trends for the upcoming seasons, learn about the newest challenges, and showcase new products. As a result, the fair often receives 37 500 attendants, including approximately 2 500 exhibiting brands and around 35 000 visitors. These vary from manufacturers to commercial agencies and include importers, speciality traders, mail order companies, suppliers and international buyers. Such participants represent over 40 attending countries, including Switzerland and India.

The TrendSet fair features a diverse range of sub-events that can help participants complete various business goals. For instance, they can overview the latest trends via the comprehensive exhibition, including the Topic Areas known as Country & Style, Newcomer, Fine Arts and Bijoutex. Additionally, some locations enable overviewing and purchasing wares related to interior design, textiles, fashion, jewellery, beauty, wellness, ceramics, and others. These are distributed in fifteen product group areas, thus enabling easy navigation.

Past Iterations

TrendSet 2021 Summer

The 2021 summer edition of TrendSet was a resounding success. The fair occurred as a live trade exhibition between the 10th and 12th of July 2021. The hosting location was Messe Munich, which included the most up-to-date coronavirus prevention measures. Such include social distancing and mandatory wearing of masks. Despite the ongoing pandemic, which warranted the placement of such procedures, the event welcomed 16 633 trade visitors. It additionally attracted 600 exhibitors, including from countries such as Austria and Switzerland.

TrendSet 2022 Winter

The 2022 face-to-face winter edition was successful. It was held in Messe Munich and featured over 13 000 trade visitants.

TrendSet 2022 Summer

The 2022 Summer edition was held as a live trade fair between the 9th and 11th of July 2022 in Messe Munich. The site did not implement coronavirus prevention measures. The edition featured around 21 000 visitants from 42 nations and 2 000 exhibitioners.

TrendSet Winter 2023

TrendSet January 2023 continued the success of the 2022 iterations. It featured over 22 500 visitors and over 1 900 exhibitors, with over 50% of the exhibiting forms representing a foreign country.

TrendSet 2023 Summer

TrendSet July 2023 improved upon the success of TrendSet January 2023. It occurred as a live trade exposition between 15-17.07.2023 in Messe Munich. It featured over 2 000 exhibiting firms from 42 nations and more than 20 000 visitants. 

TrendSet Winter 2024

TrendSet January 2024 occurred as a live trade exposition in Messe Munich between 06-08.01.2024. It featured over 1 500 exhibiting trademarks. 

TrendSet 2024 Summer

TrendSet July 2024 occurred as a live trade exposition in Messe Munich between 06-08.07.2024. It featured around 2 000 exhibiting firms and approximately 20 000 visitants on 60 000 m2 event space.

TrendSet Winter 2025

TrendSet München 2025 in winter was a live trade expo held between 31.01-02.02.2025 in Messe Munich. It showcased the wares of more than 1 800 exhibiting firms from 39 nations (over 50% from abroad). They were overviewed by over 20 400 visitants on an expo space of 70 000 m2.  

TrendSet 2025 Summer

Messe TrendSet 2025 Summer was a live trade expo held between 12-14.07.2025 in Messe Munich. It showcased the wares of 1 800 exhibiting firms from 40 nations (40% from abroad), including over 1 500 trademarks. They were overviewed by more than 17 100 visitants on 66 000 m2.

TrendSet Winter 2026

TrendSet 2026 in January was a live trade expo hosted between 04-06.01.2026 in Messe Munich. It featured over 1 700 exhibiting firms from 33 nations and around 20 000 visitants (20% of them newcomers).
