SIAL will be a face-to-face exhibition held between the 17th and 21st of October 2026 at the Paris-Nord Villepinte.
SIAL (SIAL Paris) is among the leading events for the international beverage & food industry. It is among the central hubs for learning about the latest sector trends and innovations. Paris-Nord Villepinte serves as the host location for the biannual event. SIAL Paris is an international trade show which receives many high-profile attendees. This includes food processing, manufacturing control & management, factory design and hygiene professionals. The trade show, furthermore, attracts specialists from the environmental waste processing sector. SIAL, additionally, draws food manufacturing businesses, distributers, importers, wholesale specialists, retail merchants, and retail caterers. The event also receives many media representatives, such as journalists. SIAL is a high-profile event with a high participation rate. For example, one edition received 6 913 exhibitors and 155 692 visitants. Attendees represent around 124 countries. Examples include Argentina, Australia, Canada, the Czech Republic, Egypt, and India.
SIAL is an international trade show with an extensive support programme. This includes a comprehensive exhibition with 21 exhibit sectors and channels. Each sector showcases a range of products. These include machinery, packaging alternatives, tastes, textures, processes, and other similar wares. Another main event is SIAL Innovation and its 15-category recognition-granting award sub-event. SIAL also includes the SIAL Talks. It allows professionals to learn about the industry’s current challenges and megatrends. The SIAL Talks achieve this via conferences, debates, and roundtable discussions. Another location for specialist knowledge expansion is the Future Lab. This is a dedicated food tunnel for prospective foods. It contains the sub-areas known as the Next Food Generation, the #VR Lab and the Alternative Food Forum. The Next Food Generation presents for examination emerging innovation projects. The #VR Lab displays VR concepts for testing. The Alternative Food Forum enables gaining new perspectives by showing various food alternatives.

The 2018 edition of SIAL was one of the most successful ones. It received 7,218 exhibitors and 148,323 visitors, surpassing the 2016 edition. The rendition also debuted several new event additions, including the SIAL Innovation. The event occurred as a live trade exhibition in the Paris-Nord Villepinte.
SIAL Paris 2022 was attended by 280 121 participants, including 265 000 visitants from 200 nations and 7 000 exhibitor firms from 127 countries. It also incorporated 8 000 chief purchasers and 121 lecturers. A total of 1 800 innovations were presented. Twenty-one of them received the Innovation Award. SIAL 2022 Paris spanned 250 000 m2, with 9 out of 10 exhibitors reconfirming their attendance for the upcoming edition.
SIAL 2024 in Paris featured the wares of around 7 400 exhibitor firms from approximately 98 nations. More than 92% of the group were from abroad. They were overviewed by around 300 000 visitants from 205 nations.

Of course, the difference in service quality, in comparison with the hotel in Germany, it is felt, the level is lower and the service staff - surly. But good news are that the exhibitors needed hotel only during the nights as the day-time was very busy (only weather could be better.....).

I'm not positive how I stumbled across "Travel to Fairs Limited", but I'm so glad I did. A simple request for traveling advice turned into a fantastic planning experience. My first point of contact (Via telephone) was from Ms. Ellie Stone. From that point forward I worked solely with her. My plans were extremely complex and Ellie was there for me the entire time. Flying from the United States, traveling to four separate cites in three European countries seemed daunting. After a few questions and some conversation, Ellie was able to give me multiple hotel options in each city. Ms. Stone even divided each hotel by their amenities. (Included breakfast/bars/public transport etc.) In addition to her thorough help with hotel accommodations, Ellie also booked three (3) separate flights for me. Germany to Denmark to Poland. For each city/destination, Ellie offered no fewer than 3 options for accommodations. Same for my flight options. Each destination had three choices. Different airlines and different departure times so I could manage my travel easily. The communication between Ellie and myself was excellent. With the time change between us, emails worked perfectly. Ellie was very attentive to my needs and responded to my questions/inquiries quickly. On more than a few occasions, when I called her office, she took the time to answer me right away. I would love to extend my gratitude and genuine "thanks" to Ellie. Dare I say... she made this experience fun. 5 STARS !!! Her company should be grateful to have her working there.

I want to share my feedback regarding my recent stay at Jugendherberge City-Hostel Koln-Riehl. I had a good experience, but a few points are worth mentioning.
Firstly, I commend the hostel's location, which is conveniently situated near the trade fair. This was one of the hostel's significant strengths.
However, I noticed that the rooms, although clean, had a rather plain and not very cosy ambience.

Thank you very much. Everything was good. We were pleased with the accommodation and the convenient location, and the landlord’s contact person was really friendly and helpful. One thing to mention is that we were unaware that a €500 cash deposit was required on check-in.. Anyway, we were happy over all, so thank you again.
