ProWein 2019
ProWein 2019 marked the 25th anniversary of the trade fair. It received over 60 000 visitors from the retail, catering, and hospitality industries. The fair’s edition included two specialised presentation zones. One displayed the wares of 100 craft alcoholic drink providers whilst the second showcased organic wines.
ProWein 2022
ProWein 2022 commemorated the triumphant resumption of the trade fair after a hiatus enforced by Covid-19. The edition took place as a live event amidst the absence of coronavirus safety measures at Messe Düsseldorf. The venue did not feature such precautions due to Germany lifting its national pandemic limitations in April 2022. The event received more than 38 000 visitants from 145 countries. It also featured 5 700 exhibitor firms from 62 nations.
ProWein 2023
ProWein 2023 continued the productive trend initiated by the 2022 restart iteration. It occurred between the 19th and 21st of March 2023 and received 49 000 visitants from 141 nations. This signified a 28% increase in the attendance rate compared to the 2022 rendition. Additionally, the event featured around 6 000 exhibiting firms from more than 60 countries. 86% of the group travelled from abroad.
ProWein 2024
ProWein 2024 occurred as a live trade exposition between the 10th and 12th of March 2024. It featured more than 5 300 exhibiting firms from around 70 nations and approximately 47 000 visitants from 135 countries. The iteration represented the 30th anniversary of the event.
ProWein 2025
Salon ProWein 2025 occurred as a live trade expo between the 16th and 18th of March 2025. It featured the wares of around 4 200 exhibiting firms from 65 nations (including approximately 500 spirits industrial exhibitants from 53 countries). They were overviewed by more than 42 000 visitants from 128 sovereign states. Around 40% of the lead purchasers were from Germany and 60% of the visitors were high value investors.

Hello, My contact person was Tom Parker and our communication from the past year was just perfect. He helped us to book rooms for our whole team. When I had issues/questions, etc. Tom always replied immediately. He offered us several hotels, as well the Pentahotel where we stayed. This hotel was lovely. Personnel was very friendly and helpful, rooms were nice, breakfast was good and we had the opportunity to eat in our hotel for diner which was amazing after such a long day at the airshow. Had a very good experience and will certainly work with you again for upcoming fairs.

Dear Mark, Sorry to reply this late! I have just got back to Taiwan after this long business trip – the K was very successful and thank you for asking. I would love to take a while to give you mine, and my Teammates’ feedback about the accommodation. Overall impression: Very good value for money! Pros: 1. Great location – it took 2 minutes to walk to the metro station and then 20 more minutes on the train to get to the fair. 2. Lots of restaurants and shops around – very convenient! 3. Rooms were big and clean, and we had plenty of space for our suitcases. 4. Comfortable beds, central heating and big bathrooms. 5. We will definitely consider it for the next K! it fulfilled most of our requirements! Having said all that I know you would like to know about the cons. I do not try to attack you, as you don’t run the hotel, but for your reference and future customers you should be aware of the down side of the hotel; 1. There was no internet connection in the rooms – I think it was the biggest problem for us, as we had to receive emails and work in the lobby – the only place with the internet connection. You must know that the lobby was in a different building across the street! So this was not what I had in mind when ordering the rooms – Wi-Fi connection in the room is the most important thing when searching hotels for myself and my Team. The lobby was also a bar and a restaurant at the same time so it was inconvenient for us and other patrons to work there. The staff of the hotel did nothing upon my request to fix the connection in at least some of our rooms. 2. Great location – unfortunately it comes with a price – the area was busy and loud every night and for the whole night, the windows didn’t block all of the noise of breaking glass and drunken singing. As I said at the beginning it was good value for money, and we would still chose this one! Knowing it was loud and there was no internet would not stop us from ordering it, but it would give us heads up and chance to mentally prepare. I hope my feedback was helpful and you will communicate with the hotel the need for Wi-Fi.
