DSEI 2027 will occur between the 7th and 10th of September 2027 in ExCeL London as a face-to-face event.
DSEI (DSEI London or DSEI UK) is a leading international trade show for the defence and security industry. It is the central innovation display hub for novel systems and technologies. This allows military personnel and experts to experience the latest technological advances. DSEI provides information about the whole value chain. The event is based in London and operates out of ExCeL London once every two years. DSEI UK presents novelties from the entire defence and security industry. Such include armaments, tactical gear, munition, and first aid equipment.
Because of its diversity, DSEI is the meeting location for tier 1 to 3 suppliers, defence ministers, service providers, pre-qualified industry visitors, manufacturers, system integrators, subcontractors, senior procurement staff, and prime contractors/OEMs. DSEI London is a high-profile event that receives over 35 000 attendees. For instance, one edition featured over 1 700 exhibitor firms and 36 000 visitants. 114 countries participated in the rendition. Among them were Australia, Finland, and the USA. The edition featured over 40 national pavilions and over 300 expert speakers.
The DSEI conference features a comprehensive support programme. Each edition operates under a specific theme. For instance, the central theme for one iteration was “Integrated Response to Future Threats”. This central theme influences the subjects selected for the Forums, seminar and keynote speeches. Among the main events is the detailed exhibition, where exhibitors present their latest products. This includes all levels of the supply chain, such as digital solutions and others. The DSEI exhibition grounds contain several Zones (Land, Naval, Security, Aerospace, and Joint) and Hubs (Space, Future Tech, Medical, and Manufacturing).
Each of the Zones features at least 60 categories. The Aerospace Zone, for instance, has over 100. It presents wares such as AI, missiles, flight simulators and others. The Land Zone is another exhibition zone. It features wares, like artillery, EOD, countermeasures, logistics, and body armour. The Naval Zone presents the latest naval vessels and technology. It includes a dockside section for live demonstrations of maritime capabilities and can contain additions such as visiting warships. The Security Zone presents equipment, strategies, technologies, and systems for countering high-priority threats such as terrorist attacks via its more than 60 categories. The Joint Zone displays products that can serve the entire Defence and Security Community via its over 100 categories. Such include sectors such as communications and defence infrastructure.
The Hubs serve as dedicated platforms for presenting different lead sectors. The Space Hub, for instance, displays the latest communication and space applications. The Future Tech Hub is the central location that unites Innovation, Cyber and Communication. It serves as the defence community's meeting place for discussing important subjects. The Medical Hub is the showcasing location for defence medical research and simulations. It contains a series of interactive stands and a demonstration area. Attendants can earn awards at the demonstration area by showing their medical abilities. The Manufacturing Hub is where UK newcomer manufacturers can network with the industry. This includes meeting with prime contractors. Among the services which receive a presentation in the area are consultancy services and hybrid manufacturing.
Each Zone contains a specialist Forum (Joint Forum, Naval Forum, Land Forum, and others). The Forums enable dialogues between attendees around the current edition's core themes. For instance, one edition focused on future operational requirements, skill retention, information exploitation and industry engagement. Similarly, each Hub contains a specialised Theatre focused on the core themes. For instance, the Manufacturing Theatre demonstrated the latest supply chain management developments via live demonstrations. The Medical Innovation Theatre also featured live demonstrations. Yet, the wares on display were related to the latest Operational Patient Care Pathway innovations. This includes future requirements for modern military healthcare systems.

Dear Brian!
Thank you, colleagues returned from the trip in a good mood. Everything was well organized. The hotels liked it, it was clean, cozy and friendly staff. You can write from us like that. Everyone liked everything very much!
Have a good mood and summer vacation!
Hi Tom
Everything went super well! Thanks!
Yes, we are already registered for next year.
I was wondering if it’s possible to have a hotel that is more in the city centre for the next Vitfaoods?
(Or more towards direction of the fair)
Best regards,

Everything was fine with the hotel.

Fantastic hotel placed in the city centre of Hannover. Very nice and very big and confortable rooms. Very good breakfast service too. Best hotel I never stayed in Hannover. We stayed there for profesional reasons and in the case to come to Hannover again, we will repeat!
Very responsive team. Great choice of the hotel.
Dear George,
last week when we came back after Fairs was very busy and I did not replay when it comes to our stay.
We are pretty happy with our stay, rooms were spacious and clea, service was also good.
Although we have some reamarks:
1) Parking - we were staying 7 nights and each and every time when we need to leave parking we had to ask for the new parking card. They were not able to issue a card that opens the gate every time. That was inconvience for us, and they should change it.
2) Breakfast buffet - there was good chioce however not enough vegetables. There were only tomatos and cucumber, no green mix, radishes, bell pepper, we really missed that.
Service were relly nice and supportive.
Best regards,
Honorata Michalik

All well arranged.Friendly staff. Hotel Moniga Fiera In Milan was very close to the EICMA fair.Ideal location.Good self service buffet breakfast in the morning.Similar in the evening.Very comfortable rooms.Would recommend to book this hotel.
Dear Mark, Sorry to reply this late! I have just got back to Taiwan after this long business trip – the K was very successful and thank you for asking. I would love to take a while to give you mine, and my Teammates’ feedback about the accommodation. Overall impression: Very good value for money! Pros: 1. Great location – it took 2 minutes to walk to the metro station and then 20 more minutes on the train to get to the fair. 2. Lots of restaurants and shops around – very convenient! 3. Rooms were big and clean, and we had plenty of space for our suitcases. 4. Comfortable beds, central heating and big bathrooms. 5. We will definitely consider it for the next K! it fulfilled most of our requirements! Having said all that I know you would like to know about the cons. I do not try to attack you, as you don’t run the hotel, but for your reference and future customers you should be aware of the down side of the hotel; 1. There was no internet connection in the rooms – I think it was the biggest problem for us, as we had to receive emails and work in the lobby – the only place with the internet connection. You must know that the lobby was in a different building across the street! So this was not what I had in mind when ordering the rooms – Wi-Fi connection in the room is the most important thing when searching hotels for myself and my Team. The lobby was also a bar and a restaurant at the same time so it was inconvenient for us and other patrons to work there. The staff of the hotel did nothing upon my request to fix the connection in at least some of our rooms. 2. Great location – unfortunately it comes with a price – the area was busy and loud every night and for the whole night, the windows didn’t block all of the noise of breaking glass and drunken singing. As I said at the beginning it was good value for money, and we would still chose this one! Knowing it was loud and there was no internet would not stop us from ordering it, but it would give us heads up and chance to mentally prepare. I hope my feedback was helpful and you will communicate with the hotel the need for Wi-Fi.
Thank you! Best Regards, Emma TRACZ Regional Manager
