HYPER Japan – A Brief Introduction
HYPER Japan is an international trade show based in London, UK, which performs a dual function – both a procurement platform for end consumers enamoured by Japanese pop culture and a rich showcase of Japanese culture, which promotes understanding and appreciation. As such, HYPER Japan is not just one thing, but many, and therein lies its popularity with visitors from all walks of life. HYPER Japan occurs twice per year and both editions are heavily visited. The summer show garners around 80,000 visitors and the autumn show exceeded 50,000 visitors. These numbers are consistent over the years.
An Industry Profile
Japan has fascinated Westerners for decades, especially with the development of Japan’s animation and comics scene, its colourful fashions and technological innovations. But there’s also a deep love for Japanese aesthetics and philosophy, reflected in its traditions and rituals. HYPER Japan is a full embodiment of all these aspects as the show is parts festival with traditional tea ceremonies and street foods, and part marketplace, where visitors can find just about anything. This includes merchandise, clothes, games, traditional arts, kawaii wares, foods, novel technology, handmade wares, antiques, accessories, and souvenirs.

The 2023 iteration of HYPER JAPAN was hosted as a live trade exposition between 21-23.07.2023 in Olympia London. The face-to-face format featured over 40 exhibiting firms and approximately 30 000 visitants.

HYPER JAPAN 2024 was hosted as a live trade exposition between 19-21.07.2024 in Olympia London. The format featured around 350 exhibiting firms.
HYPER JAPAN 2025
HYPER JAPAN 2025 was a live trade expo held between 18.07.2025 and 20.07.2025 in Olympia London. The format featured around 470 exhibiting firms.

The hotel was very great.
Close to the messe and the city by metro and very convenient. It was very close to the metro. close to the center (10 min) 30 min to the messe Great Brekfast. The room was clean, and we have a present : chocolate, water and coffee.
I think we want to reserve the same hotel next year 😉

Many thanks your email. Nothing to say about your service, perfect ! Appreciate very much your good communication. I was very happy to have for the first time a hotel very close to the ANUGA (which gave me time to do running daily after the exhibitionJ) The hotel was good. It is a pity however that no meal was served (except the breakfast) while the Ibis hotel close to Ibis Budget was serving meals at dinner. I was also disappointed to book for a taxi at the hotel that never came. Fortunately, I went by foot to take a taxi outside in order to avoid missing my train.

Hotel was OK Service staff OK too Parking lot was not available, a bit difficult to park around there.
Restaurant got busy very soon, was not possible to dine one night.
Interlift 2023

Everything was okay. Nice staff. Clean room, very quite place, no street rush, perfect breakfast. Not enough parking spaces but it was not a problem to park in the street few metres from hotel. Perfect hotel for few nights for business trips. Not far from Messe Stuttgart - only 10 minutes by car. Without any traffic.

The trip was great and the fair was very interesting.
When it comes to the hotel, the rooms were nice and clean and the staff was very polite. It happens that all the rooms we got were family rooms with 4 beds each. So regarding our last minute request for an extra room or bed for 1 person, there was plenty of space to accommodate. I don't know where the communication with the hotel went wrong and they didn't tell you that there was enough room for one extra person.
Regardless, everything else was good.

Indeed, our overall satisfaction was great as it was very close to the fair (walking distance 10 min max), with a decent breakfast and 24-h available reception.
The room was very clean and the bed was super comfy although it would be perfect if there was a table and chair. We got a free room cleaning service for staying every 4 nights.
The hotel was very close to the train station, and to a very big mall which has Carrefour and a food court. Easy check out as well.
