Price / quality ration very good, spacious and clean room. Breakfast simple but more than enough. Nice lobby and friendly staff. Only negative point is the noise at night in the rooms facing the street, very difficult to rest. I was lucky to face the interior areas but my colleagues had trouble sleeping.

About the event
Update
The 2026 edition of the Game Developers Conference will be hosted as a live trade fair at the Moscone Convention Center between the 9th and 13th of March 2026.
Game Developers Conference – A Brief Introduction
The Game Developer's Conference (GDC) is one of the biggest and most important conferences slash expos within the gaming industry in the world. This annual event runs out of different locations, but is currently based in San Francisco at the Moscone Center. Every year GDC seems to grow bigger and attendance records reflect this clearly – the edition in 2019 scoring the highest attendance record in its entire history. That’s 29,000 international visitors. The expo itself offered solutions and products from 550 exhibitors in total. That makes the Game Developers Conference a premier platform for innovation, business, and networking.
An Industry Profile
GDC defies definitions and limits as it’s become such a monumental event with an area dedicated to just about any form of hardware, software, and solution for game development. The platforms have certainly grown to include consoles, mobile and handheld devices, tablets, online, computer games and most recently VR and AR. GDC is also the place to learn and play new releases as well as enjoy playable indie games, retro games and alternative controllers. The conference portion of the event is exceptionally elaborate with more than 800 items to enjoy from lectures to panels to discussions. The audience is varied and has come to include developers, engineers, trainees, distributors, programmers, artists, producers, game designers, audio professionals and publishers.

Our visitors for the event

Dear Tom, Dear Tess,
Thank you for your service, all went well. The only remark is that the hotel does not dispose of many parking slots, so we might reconsider it for next year.
Thanks
Best regards,

Hi Christine,
Thanks for everything, sorry for the confusion. I still own you a feedback from Hamburg. The Apartment Hotel - The location was not that bad, considering you are going there for the SMM show not for holiday. I had a subway station 10-12 min walk distance which was very useful , 3.20 Euro /day I was going back and forward from the exhibition center. - At the Hotel .base floor, they have a small restaurant and bar, but near the hotel at a 15m min range walk, you can find something to eat like, Pizza`s, McDonalds, Chinese Restaurant, Turkish Restaurant, German beer house with brezzels and sausages, etc - The room was a decent one, you can feel is an old Hotel by the building construction and the furniture vintage alike that gives you the impression of the `90`s, but they were clean, and looking good. - The room cleaning was ok, and also the guys from the front desk were quite polite and helpful. - Breakfast area was large which I like it the most, you did not feel crowded having many tables where to sit. The diversity was ok, nothing special, but looking clean and lots of personnel available for the coffer, table cleaning/arranging, etc - The down points are that rooms do not have A/C , the single room, has two small beds with separate mattresses put together, so if you want to roll over you will have a gap in the middle, so anyway you will use only one single bed. They say that the tap water is drinkable in Germany , but a hotel that respects its status, should offer complementary water bottle every day for the ones who prefer to stay safe, there wa sonly one 1L bottle at the first day and that`s it, I mean it costs 1Euro , you can add it to the room costs. The bathroom was only with liquid soap, no shower gel or shampoo. This is the most honest feedback you will get…
Best regards

Dear Tracy,
You are very good at follow ups 😊
We had a small issue on check in, however everything went well with the hotel and the reservation.

Hi Megan,
I just wanted to drop you a quick note to say thank you for all your help in arranging the hotel and breakfasts etc.
The feed back from the team has also been positive from the hotel.
Looking forward to working with you again.
Have a lovely weekend.
Thanks

Dear Megan,
Thank you very much. Everything was good. We were pleased with the accommodation and the convenient location, and the landlord’s contact person was really friendly and helpful. One thing to mention is that we were unaware that a €500 cash deposit was required on check-in.. Anyway, we were happy over all, so thank you again.
Kind regards,
Rachel

It was okay and as always very good experience.

Everything was okay. Nice staff. Clean room, very quite place, no street rush, perfect breakfast. Not enough parking spaces but it was not a problem to park in the street few metres from hotel. Perfect hotel for few nights for business trips. Not far from Messe Stuttgart - only 10 minutes by car. Without any traffic.

Dear Tom,
Yes .. I had no issues with the hotel (Hampton by Hilton Nurnberg City Center) … good rooms and people .. just a bit austere for me/us .. like a bar = ambiance !
