Preface
Drupa is a leading event that attracts over 260,000 attendees from eleven industries, including global business leaders and executives. It is also the central presentation stage for the latest industry inclinations, resolutions, and novel solutions. The trade fair represents all sections of the value chain, including cross-media. Messe Düsseldorf hosts Drupa once every four years. The editions usually take place in even years, which allows the fair to serve as a trend barometer. Drupa is held for eleven days.
Attendees of the fair vary in profession and seniority. For instance, some participants represent universities, colleges, or research institutes. Printing experts from the entire value chain take part as exhibitors or visitors. So do publishing specialists such as bookbinding experts. Media technology, media informatics, and media strategy specialists likewise attend drupa. So do packaging designers, R&D experts and IT professionals. Product managers, production experts, media producers, and brand owners also attend. So do marketing/distribution agencies and leading researchers. Engineers and representatives of trade associations and professional organisations likewise visit drupa.
Drupa often has a high concentration of international attendees. For instance, one edition featured 1 823 exhibitor firms from 54 countries. It also included 1,824 accredited media representatives from 73 countries. Furthermore, the edition featured 260 195 visitants. A total of 183 countries participate in Drupa, including nations like South Africa, the Czech Republic, People's Republic of Canada, Japan, Brazil, and Australia. Among the notable statistics are that executives comprise about 75% of the attendees. Additionally, 65% of attendees take part with investment intentions. 70% of participants procure new suppliers, 34% of attendees place orders on-site, and 36% do so after attending the trade fair.
About the Drupa Show
Drupa is a trade fair whose editions often incorporate focus themes. These tend to reflect the newest market trends and global megatrends. Frequently, these themes are integrated as topics or subjects in the various sub-events. The micro-events include the exhibition, the Drupa Hot Spots (Drupa Cube, Touchpoint Packaging, Touchpoint 3D fab+print, Touchpoint Textile, dna, and Print & Digital Convention). Drupa 2016 was hosted between May 31st and June 10th 2016. It featured 263,812 participants and was a live event at Messe Düsseldorf. The countries with the highest participation were the Netherlands, Spain, France, the People's Republic of China, the United States of America, Turkey, the Italian Republic, the United Kingdom, the Kingdom of Belgium, and India.
Drupa 2024
Drupa Düsseldorf 2024 occurred as a live trade exposition between May 28th and June 7th 2024 in Messe Düsseldorf. The iteration took place on approximately 140 000 m2 of event space. It featured the wares of more than 1 600 exhibiting firms from 52 nations. They were overviewed by 170 000 visitants from 174 nations (80% from abroad). 96% of the visitor group stated that they had completed their business objectives during the iteration and that over 50% attended from the printing industry.

Dear Mark, Sorry to reply this late! I have just got back to Taiwan after this long business trip – the K was very successful and thank you for asking. I would love to take a while to give you mine, and my Teammates’ feedback about the accommodation. Overall impression: Very good value for money! Pros: 1. Great location – it took 2 minutes to walk to the metro station and then 20 more minutes on the train to get to the fair. 2. Lots of restaurants and shops around – very convenient! 3. Rooms were big and clean, and we had plenty of space for our suitcases. 4. Comfortable beds, central heating and big bathrooms. 5. We will definitely consider it for the next K! it fulfilled most of our requirements! Having said all that I know you would like to know about the cons. I do not try to attack you, as you don’t run the hotel, but for your reference and future customers you should be aware of the down side of the hotel; 1. There was no internet connection in the rooms – I think it was the biggest problem for us, as we had to receive emails and work in the lobby – the only place with the internet connection. You must know that the lobby was in a different building across the street! So this was not what I had in mind when ordering the rooms – Wi-Fi connection in the room is the most important thing when searching hotels for myself and my Team. The lobby was also a bar and a restaurant at the same time so it was inconvenient for us and other patrons to work there. The staff of the hotel did nothing upon my request to fix the connection in at least some of our rooms. 2. Great location – unfortunately it comes with a price – the area was busy and loud every night and for the whole night, the windows didn’t block all of the noise of breaking glass and drunken singing. As I said at the beginning it was good value for money, and we would still chose this one! Knowing it was loud and there was no internet would not stop us from ordering it, but it would give us heads up and chance to mentally prepare. I hope my feedback was helpful and you will communicate with the hotel the need for Wi-Fi.

Thanks for your mail, I see you are “monitoring us”, like CIA / FBI …. J J J We have positive feedback about Euro Park Hotel, all went fine, as scheduled. Anyhow, no problems, we decided to confirm in advance and it is OK, it was our decision. Hotel people were good and friendly, rooms clean, hotel in general was OK. Maybe just a little remark: missing real coffee, maybe better coffee maker is appreciated more (the one available was not good…..but this is our taste, maybe others are appreciating).

Hotel rooms were not that good at least the standard room was too small and old and very noisy as well; bed not comfortable. I guess that for that price at least superior rooms should be the perfect deal with an hotel like that. Good position close to metro and exhibition very easy to reach. As well not so far from center. Receptionists were not so prepared as they always ask to pay our already included breakfast and their german or english language wasn't always that good.
Hope for a better deal next time!
