Preface
Aqua Nor is an exceptional aquacultural trade exhibition. Founded in 1979, it is a biennial trade show held for four days at Trondheim Spektrum. It presents the latest aquaculture solutions as well as networking, idea exchange, and research opportunities. Suppliers, manufacturers, researchers, association representatives, and importers showcase or examine them. Over 28 000 participants from over 70 nations on six continents attend Aqua Nor. This includes major aquaculture ones such as the People’s Republic of China, Canada, the Arab Republic of Egypt, and Norway. Furthermore, it includes countries such as Australia and Chile.

Various sectors attend the trade show. These include agriculture, fishing, aquaculture, F&B, food processing, environmental protection, and education. These are represented by lead exhibitors within Aqua Nor's exhibitor list, such as:

Aqua Nor 2023
The 2023 iteration occurred as a hybrid trade exposition in Trondheim Spektrum. It took place between the 22nd and 24th of August 2023. The hosting did not feature coronavirus precautions similar to Aqua Nor 2021. The iteration received approximately 660 exhibitants from 32 countries.
Aqua Nor 2025
Aqua Nor 2025 occurred as a live trade expo in Trondheim Spektrum. It took place between the 19th and 21st of August. It received more than 700 exhibiting firms and more than 25 000 visitants from over 75 nations.

We were very satisfied with the STAYERY Frankfurt Sachsenhausen. The rooms were great and the location worked very well for us. It took us around 20 minutes by car to reach CPHI in the morning, which was perfect.
The only very small downside is that our rooms were not all located close to each other – only 2 out of 4 colleagues had rooms next to each other. This is not a major issue at all, more of a small detail, but I am mentioning it as feedback.
I will try to complete the questionnaire later today.
Regarding your question about preliminary rates for next year, as far as we know, the 2026 edition of CPHI will be held in Milan, not in Frankfurt – which is why I am not sure I fully understand the proposal to review hotel rates for the same hotel next year. Could you clarify this point?
