ABOUT THE VENUE
Messe Essen was inaugurated in 1913 and is the ninth-largest exhibition centre in Germany. This is due to its total indoor event space of 110,000 m2 and outdoor space of 20,000 m2. It was modernised between 2016 and 2019, which resulted in the development of 8 halls, a new reception space, and the Business Club. The venue is annually visited by more than 1.3 million visitors and 13,000 exhibitors.
