Vinexpo Paris And Covid-19

Vinexpo Paris 2023 will take place from 13.02.2023 to 15.02.2023. The trade fair will be hosted at Paris Expo Porte de Versailles. The trade show will have the latest Covid-19 prevention measures in place to ensure attendee safety. Participants should note that implemented measures will follow the latest government regulations. The measures may change depending on the circumstance. At present, the safety plan will include the following precautions:

  • The hosting venue will instate a strict 3G entry policy. Attendants must present 3G documents, such as negative test results, before entering the fair. This is necessary to ensure that participants do not have a Covid-19 infection. Attendees should note that the test results will expire after 24 hours. Yet, they can be renewed by conducting the test on site at the specialised testing centre. 
  • Pre-registration is recommended. This is due to attendees not being allowed to register at the door. Participants should take into consideration that badges will be digital and individual. Such passes must be presented via a mobile app and cannot be passed to another attendee. 
  • Attendees will be asked to wear face masks in all indoor spaces. This will include the exhibition halls. Exceptions to the regulation include the tasting areas.

2020 Edition

The 2020 edition of Vinexpo Paris served as the event’s debut. It received a total of 29.280 trade visitors, 600 journalists and 2,800 producers. The participants scheduled 3,000 meetings with 95% of the visitors expressing high satisfaction. Vinexpo Paris’ debut edition took place at the Paris Expo Porte de Versailles. 

2022 Edition

The 2022 edition of Vinexpo Paris featured 25.739 trade visitors and 2,864 exhibitors. 77% of the trade visitors had a high influence on the decision-making process in relation to wine buying. 51% of the visiting participants were importers, wholesalers, or specialist distributors. 32% of the visiting attendees were wine merchants or specialist chain representatives.  17% of the trade visitors were from the hospitality industry.
