OPTATEC 2028 will be held as a face-to-face trade fair between the dates of 9th to 11th of May 2028. The hosting location of the event will remain Messe Cologne.

Past Iterations
OPTATEC 2022
The 2022 iteration of OPTATEC occurred between the 18th and 20th of October 2022 in Messe Cologne as a live trade exhibition. The host site did not feature coronavirus safeguards because of the removal of the country's pandemic restrictions. The iteration was attended by 255 exhibiting companies from 30 nations and 3 481 visitants from 37 countries. It featured an event space of approximately 4 500 m2.
OPTATEC 2024
The 2024 iteration of the event was a live trade exposition between the 14th and 16th of May 2024 in Messe Cologne. The event was attended by more than 420 exhibiting firms.
OPTATEC 2026
The 2026 iteration of the event was a live trade expo between the 5th and 7th of May 2026. It featured more than 3 400 visitants and 265 exhibiting firms from 25 nations.

Thanks for your mail, I see you are “monitoring us”, like CIA / FBI …. J J J We have positive feedback about Euro Park Hotel, all went fine, as scheduled. Anyhow, no problems, we decided to confirm in advance and it is OK, it was our decision. Hotel people were good and friendly, rooms clean, hotel in general was OK. Maybe just a little remark: missing real coffee, maybe better coffee maker is appreciated more (the one available was not good…..but this is our taste, maybe others are appreciating).

The Novum Hotel Madison Düsseldorf Hauptbahnhof was fine: good service, large rooms and bathrooms.
A bit old-fashioned and a 3 star hotel in my opinion rather than 4 stars.
