The manufacturing technology and automation sectors receive the full spotlight at NORTEC (and the assimilated METAV). It is an international trade fair focused on production chain innovations and advancements. Hamburg serves as the host for four days. The specialist event draws in the equipment and machinery from over 430 exhibiting firms, while attendance remains above 35 000 trade visitants. NORTEC firmly focuses on technological growth via its programming. It discusses metalworking, design, analysis and simulation, control, IT, logistics, and quality control.

NORTEC 2022
NORTEC 2022 took place as a live event between 31.05.2022 and 03.06.2022. The hosting location for the event was the Hamburg Messe und Congress. NORTEC 2022 featured approximately 230 exhibitors. The venue did not incorporate coronavirus precautions because Germany had repealed its pandemic restrictions.
NORTEC 2024
The 2024 edition of NORTEC was held between 23-26.01.2024 as a live trade exposition. The iteration took place on more than 4 300 m2 and received around 200 exhibiting firms and 4 800 visitants. 86% of the visiting group rated the event as excellent and 59% were first-time attendees. 75% will attend the next edition and 87% would recommend the event to others.

Many thanks for handling the reservation of the hotel so professionally. Its interesting to note that when Interschutz 2021 was cancelled the hotel, and yourselves, did not hesitate to carry the booking over to 2022 at the same cost. The hotel, although a little out of Hannover (this was as per choice) was excellent. The food was excellent and the rooms larger than normal, and well appointed. My stay was greatly enjoyed.

About Hotel Marconi, Ihave a couple of things to point out:
1)Mrs. Straccia and Mrs. Fantaccione had rooms not good enough for a 4**** Hotel (they were really small, not so nice and below the ground floor…). Mrs. Straccia asked to change it and the Hotel did it. Honestly, the Hotel asked us to pay the full amount one year in advance, we did it but we expected to have the best rooms, and the Hotel was big with lots of rooms);
2)the temperature in some rooms (also Mr. Pagliuca ones) was quite cold.
By the way, aside this (even important), the staying was quite good.

- For weekend arrivals the reception is empty.
- The windows could not be opened due to laws/ ordinances.

- There are some good restaurants nearby
- On request you got the key to open the window
- There were shopping facilities (supermarkets) nearby
- The hotel offers parking possibilities; (Otherwise there is a parking garage 100 m away)
- The parking spaces at the hotel are free of charge
