Preface
Interzum (Interzum Germany) is the most pivotal trade exhibition for the furniture industry. Also, it is an indispensable presentation platform for the latest innovations and trends. Furthermore, interzum offers a comprehensive view of the partaking industries. Attendees can also share knowledge and increase brand understanding at the trade fair. The event often exceeds 70,000 participants. Editions are scheduled every two years at Messe Cologne, and the event lasts four days. Frequently, interzum is held in May. The editions occur on odd-numbered years.
Interzum Cologne attracts a diverse audience from five continents. This includes management, trade, merchandising, advertisement, acquisition, and product development professionals. Similarly, it features design, architecture, facility furnishing, manufactured housing, and construction experts. interzum 2025 in Köln was a live trade expo held in Messe Cologne. It received more than 1 600 exhibiting firms from 57 nations (86% from abroad) and around 60 000 visitants from 148 countries (approximately 77% from a foreign country).
Interzum 2023
Interzum Cologne 2023 occurred as a live trade exposition without incorporated coronavirus precautions in Messe Cologne. This was due to the repealing of the country's pandemic restrictions. The iteration received approximately 62 000 visitants from 150 nations and around 1 600 exhibiting firms from 59 countries on 186 000 m2. 76% of the visiting group and 84% of the exhibitants were from abroad.
Interzum 2021
The 2021 edition of interzum took place as a digital event known as interzum@home. The event was hosted between 4.05.2021 and 7.05.2021. According to participants, the event was a success. The trade fair included 10 000 visitants and 142 exhibiting firms. A total of 132 countries attended the online edition of the fair.
Interzum 2019
Interzum 2019 marked a new participation record for the event. The in-person trade fair featured 74,000 visitors from 60 countries and 1,805 exhibitors. The hosting location was once again Messe Cologne.

Thanks for everything, sorry for the confusion. I still own you a feedback from Hamburg. The Apartment Hotel - The location was not that bad, considering you are going there for the SMM show not for holiday. I had a subway station 10-12 min walk distance which was very useful , 3.20 Euro /day I was going back and forward from the exhibition center. - At the Hotel .base floor, they have a small restaurant and bar, but near the hotel at a 15m min range walk, you can find something to eat like, Pizza`s, McDonalds, Chinese Restaurant, Turkish Restaurant, German beer house with brezzels and sausages, etc - The room was a decent one, you can feel is an old Hotel by the building construction and the furniture vintage alike that gives you the impression of the `90`s, but they were clean, and looking good. - The room cleaning was ok, and also the guys from the front desk were quite polite and helpful. - Breakfast area was large which I like it the most, you did not feel crowded having many tables where to sit. The diversity was ok, nothing special, but looking clean and lots of personnel available for the coffer, table cleaning/arranging, etc - The down points are that rooms do not have A/C , the single room, has two small beds with separate mattresses put together, so if you want to roll over you will have a gap in the middle, so anyway you will use only one single bed. They say that the tap water is drinkable in Germany , but a hotel that respects its status, should offer complementary water bottle every day for the ones who prefer to stay safe, there wa sonly one 1L bottle at the first day and that`s it, I mean it costs 1Euro , you can add it to the room costs. The bathroom was only with liquid soap, no shower gel or shampoo. This is the most honest feedback you will get…

This hotel was in a great location, very close to the main train station.
There are tons of restaurants and sight seeing opportunities within walking/biking distance. The value/price was much better than the hotel I stayed at 4 years ago when I attended the Ligna show.
