Intec 2027 will be hosted as a live trade exhibition between the 2nd and 5th of March 2027 in Leipziger Messe. It will feature as an integrated sub-event GrindTec 2027.
Preface
Intec celebrates the cutting-edge achievements across manufacturing technology, machine construction, tool manufacturing, metal processing, plant engineering, and from 2025 onwards, tools grinding due to the integration of the leading GrindTec. The events are attended by more than 24 000 attendants. The product portfolio features automation, components, control technology, electronics, industrial electronics, machine components, machine tools, measurement technology, parts, robotics, sheet metal, special machines and tools as well as grinding technologies, coolants, and polishing equipment. The trade fair also features live demonstrations, technical forums, interactive pavilions, guided tours, and networking areas, including the ones present within GrindTec's programme.

Past Iterations
Intec 2023
The 2023 iteration of Intec coincided with Z and GrindTec Leipzig 2023. The trade exhibitions occurred in a live format at Leipziger Messe. The event venue did not include coronavirus precautions. This was because the country repealed its pandemic restrictions. The iterations were attended by 821 exhibiting firms from 29 nations and 19 300 visitants from 49 countries. 96% of the visitants would recommend the events and 93% will attend the next Intec, Z, and GrindTec Leipzig. Additionally, 85% stated that their attendance was worthwhile. Furthermore, over 50% of the visiting were executives.
Intec 2025
The 2025 iteration of Intec occurred as a live trade expo between the 11th and 14th of March 2025 in Leipziger Messe. It featured the wares of more than 730 exhibiting firms from 26 nations. They were overviewed by more than 17 800 visitants from 42 countries (89% will attend the next iteration and 94% would recommend Intec to other industry members).

In my opinion it was a great location for us. Staff was courteous and nice. Rooms were spacious. Breakfasts were very good with lots of choices. There was a. It of outside noise that bothered the odd person but nothing that was unbearable.
I would definitely stay there again if we were to go back to Hannover.
But that’s just my 2 cents worth.

- There was little choice at breakfast.
- For weekend arrivals the reception is empty.
- The windows could not be opened due to laws/ ordinances.
Positive:
- The train is 3 - 5 minutes walk away.
- There are some good restaurants nearby
- On request you got the key to open the window
- There were shopping facilities (supermarkets) nearby
- The hotel offers parking possibilities; (Otherwise there is a parking garage 100 m away)
- The parking spaces at the hotel are free of charge
