GENERA 2026 will be hosted as a live trade fair at the IFEMA - Feria de Madrid in Spain. The event will take place between the 24th and 26th of November 2026.
Introduction
GENERA champions sustainability, energy efficiency and a strict balance between energy and environment. The focus of the international trade fair falls on the biofuel market, as showcased by over 250 exhibitors covering the entire value chain from biomass power plants to solar energy and energy storage. GENERA 2021
GENERA 2021 was a hybrid trade exhibition held between the 16th and 18th of November 2021. The hosting location of the live aspect of the event was IFEMA in Madrid. GENERA 2022
GENERA 2022 was a live trade exhibition in the IFEMA. It was held between the 14th and 16th of June 2022. The hosting site featured strict coronavirus safeguards such as social distancing. The event received around 260 exhibitors and over 15,000 visitors.
GENERA 2023
The 2023 iteration of GENERA signified a new attendance record. The live trade exhibition, held between the 21st and 23rd of February 2023, received 35 107 visitants from 63 countries. They examined the wares of 402 exhibiting companies from 21 nations. The hosting location, IFEMA, did not feature coronavirus safeguards due to the removal of the country's pandemic restrictions.
GENERA 2024
GENERA 2024 occurred as a live trade exposition between the 6th and 8th of February 2024. The live iteration featured more than 500 exhibiting firms from over 60 nations and 35 000 visitants on 24 000 m2.
GENERA 2025
GENERA 2025 occurred as a live trade expo between the 18th and 20th of November 2025. It was held on 24 000 m2 and featured 500 exhibiting firms as well as 43 000 visitants.

All our sales staff have given positive feed back on hotel Adina:
Perfect location and nice spacious rooms
Only criticism was about contact with a receptionist who could be more service minded and polite. My husband and I had same experience when we checked in.
And breakfast was a bit chaotic due to too many people at the same time and lack of space/tables.
But overall a very nice experience.

Of course, the difference in service quality, in comparison with the hotel in Germany, it is felt, the level is lower and the service staff - surly. But good news are that the exhibitors needed hotel only during the nights as the day-time was very busy (only weather could be better.....).

We had a good stay. The hotel is clean and people are friendly and helpful but it is really very old fashioned! The furniture and decoration 1970, could become very fancy again in a few years maybe? I recommend to take your own body wash etc with you while theirs isn't good quality. Breakfast is very correct Have a nice day and I will certainly contact you again for a next fair.

Am glad to note that they were all pleased with both hotels. They said the hotels were clean and service was good. They particularly liked the location and the restaurant of Hotel XII Apostel Albergo. The only downside they mentioned to me is the weak wi-fi connection. But overall they were much satisfied.
