IFEMA Institucion Ferial de Madrid has revealed that Fitur 2027 will be hosted as a face-to-face event between the 20th and 24th of January 2027.

Preface

Fitur is one of the tourism industry’s leading trade exhibitions. It is an annual event held in IFEMA Feria de Madrid. It showcases the latest strategies, products, destinations, and marketing steps via the over 600 exhibitors from over 100 nations that attend. Their exhibition selections are overviewed by more than 230 000 attendees, including 136 000 industry specialists, 86 000 public visitants and more than 8 000 associates from over 120 countries. Such include decision-makers from trade organisations, foreign official establishments, travel agencies, hotel chains and leading enterprises. They represent nations such as Argentina, Slovenia, India, Cabo Verde, and the United States. Fitur 2026

Feria Fitur 2026 continued the positive development established by the previous iterations. It featured over 255 000 visitants with a 12% increase in global attendance and 967 central exhibiting firms among more than 10 000 enterprises, with an 11% rise in global exhibitant attendance. The iteration produced an economic value of €505,000,000.

Fitur 2025

Feria Fitur 2025 surpassed the attendance record of Fitur 2024. It featured around 255 000 visitants, including 155 000 trade attendees. They overviewed more than 9 500 exhibiting firms. The event was attended by 156 participating countries, with 101 via official delegations. Fitur 2025 contributed a turnover of 455 000 000 EUR to Madrid. 

Fitur 2024

Fitur 2024 surpassed the attendance record of the 2023 format by approximately 14%. It featured 250 000 visitants from 152 nations, including 153 000 trade and 97 000 public attendees. They examined the wares of 9 000 exhibiting firms. Additionally, the trade exposition received around 6 800 media specialists from 53 countries who generated more than 37 000 media articles. Fitur 2024 additionally received over 311 300 followers through its social media presence on LinkedIn, Twitter, Facebook and Instagram. This was due to the generation of approximately 6 500 000 social media impressions and 83 000 interactions. The format generated around 430 000 000 EUR of revenue for Madrid, its hosting city. 

Fitur 2023

The 2023 iteration signified a new attendance record. It was attended by more than 222 000 participants. This included 136 000 industry specialists and 86 000 public visitants. Also, the fair featured 755 exhibitor firms, 8 500 participants from 131 nations, and over 6 300 media experts from 46 countries. The complementary digital platform received over 56 000 registrations. The official website received 146 000 visitations on the first day. A total of 288 557 followers followed the trade fair on LinkedIn, Twitter, Facebook and Instagram. The event’s publications created more than 1 676 000 impressions. Its Twitter profile was Spain’s No.1 Trending Topic, with over 500 mentions per day. The event space of the fair was also increased to more than 66 900 m2.

Fitur 2022

Fitur 2022 occurred between 19-23.01.2022 in a hybrid format. The iteration incorporated a live trade exposition and a complimentary digital platform. Despite the pandemic, the event was a success. This is because of the high attendance numbers the edition received. It featured 111,193 attendees, 600 exhibitors, and 6,933 participants. FITUR LIVEConnect (the digital platform) received 33 286 entries. The rendition received media representation from 3,981 journalists. Fitur 2022 featured representatives from 127 countries.
