About the event
Cibus 2024 is set to take place from May 7th to May 10th 2024. Fiere di Parma S.p.A. is working towards improving the concept for the face-to-face event. The exhibition halls at Fiere di Parma will not feature strict coronavirus security procedures due to the country lifting its domestic restrictions.
Cibus (Cibus International Food Exhibition) is a central meeting and business hub for the F&B industry. It is hosted in Fiera di Parma on over 120 000 m2 of event space. Initially, the Cibus trade fair took place once every two years. Yet, after extensive consideration, organisers opted to have the iterations occur annually. This enables participants to remain up-to-date about the current novel solutions, challenges, and trends within the related industries while conducting business. As a result, over 85 000 attendants take part in the editions. This includes over 80 000 visitors. Such participants represent institutions, food commerce chains, resorts, eateries, speciality stores, and trade associations. Visitors occupy positions like managers, buyers, executive chefs, wholesalers, distributors, food producers, and company directors.
About the CIBUS International Food Exhibition
Cibus features a variety of centrefold sub-events that can aid in completing various business goals. Among them are the HoReCa Hub Area, the Innovation Corner, and the After Networking Area. Attendants should additionally consider the Cibus LAB, the Fuori Salone, the Unionbirrai and the Birra Nostra. The exposition, with its diversified product groups, such as flavouring, deli products, beverages, baby products, snacks, and processed and fresh foods, should be overlooked as well.
Many leading companies attend the fair as visitors or exhibitors. Such include La Rocca, Renna, Mutti, Yogi Tea, ACMI, Costa d’Oro, Monini, and Nestle. Such enterprises represent a variety of industries. Among them are F&B, agribusiness, hospitality, restaurants, catering, import and export, retail, travel, health, sports, and distribution.
Cibus Show Accommodation
Procure suitable accommodation for the Cibus fair in Parma before all the good deals are taken with Travel 2 Fairs Ltd. All that is necessary is to inform us about how many rooms you need, how much you wish to spend, and your desired location. Travel 2 Fairs Ltd manages the rest. Book hotels close to Fiera di Parma and gain valuable access to public transport. We advise you on the best routes to take to the venue. Asides from affordable hotel accommodation for exhibitions, we also provide transport services. One way to travel to your hotel is to have a rent-a-car wait for you at the airport. Another is to schedule an airport transfer in both directions.

The 2018 iteration marked a new attendance record for the event. It featured 82 000 attendees, 3 100 exhibitor companies, over 1 000 media representatives and 2 800 international buyers from more than 90 nations.
Over 700 exhibitors and 10 000 visitors (3 000 of whom were foreign buyers) attended the 2019 iteration. The exhibiting companies presented 1 000 brands in total.
Because of the coronavirus pandemic, the 2020 iteration was postponed and subsequently cancelled.
The 20th edition of Cibus, held between 31.08.2021 to 03.09.2021 as a face-to-face exhibition, marked a turnaround point for the event. Despite the coronavirus pandemic, the rendition fully achieved and exceeded the targets set by the organisers. Two thousand exhibitors attended the edition. Approximately 40 000 visitants examined their wares, including 2 000 foreign representatives. One highlight was the in-person attendance of 3 Ministers.
The 21st edition of Cibus reconfirmed its importance for the F&B sector. The edition took place between the 3rd and 6th of May 2022 as a live event at the Fiere di Parma. It presented the wares of 3 000 exhibiting companies and was visited by 60 000 visitants, including 3 000 leading buyers.
Our visitors for the event
thank you for your email. The hotel was quite good but the service was not honestly professional, staff was not so friendly and the rooms were a bit poor. We had to change the personal code (to use elevators, enter in the room, parking etc..) 3 times as we had 3 reservations/each. Sometimes my colleague found the room not clean and in the same condition as in the morning.
However the location was good and my general feedback is positive. I thank you very much for your support, you are really professional and quick in replying.
