China is among the most influential and highly significant countries of the mining industry worldwide. This is due to the extensive, high-value, and innovation-driven sector present in the state. It is the location of more than 170 minerals, including proven reserves in more than 160 such ores. This results in the country being in the leading positions in the world. Among the resources present in the country are 13 related to energy. It also features 59 associated with metals, 95 non-metal, and six related to water and gas. It includes rare earth minerals, with the state accounting for more than 87% of the global production of such products. It incorporates up to 20 000 metric tons of mined lithium ore. Such productions occur as a result of more than 1 500 mining operations, of which around two-thirds are located underground. It has resulted in the sector generating more than 400 000 000 000 USD every year. It includes around 218 000 000 000 from the metallic minerals and coal segments. The country also invests approximately 200 000 000 000 in further developing the segment by improving its supply and services. For example, in recent years, it has allocated more than 10 000 000 000 to developing new metals and minion contracts. In addition, the sector often implements novel solutions, particularly once related to sustainability. Such cutting-edge solutions are presented as part of trade expos. Examples include events held every two years in diverse cities within the country. They attract up to tens of thousands of attendees.
