The new official dates for Abf's latest edition are February 11th to 15th, 2026 in Messe Hannover.
Abf – A Brief Introduction
Abf is the perfect event for you to learn the newest trends in the world of travel, sports, and camping and increase your visibility among professional visitors and end consumers. Germany has one of the best-developed travel and camping cultures in Europe, so Abf gives you access to an enthusiastic audience. Attendance is in the tens of thousands, and the last edition almost hit 92,000 visitors in total. In comparison, there were only about 700 exhibitors at the exhibition centre. That is more than enough to do some market research, study competitors and sell your products and services.
An Industry Profile
There are five zones at Abf – travel and holiday, bicycle and outdoor, caravanning and camping, auto and accessories, active and fit. Altogether, they cover the entire value chain for the travel and leisure time sector. You have access to travel destinations and packages, as well as equipment and accessories for you and your car. Product groups include motor vehicles, caravans, bicycles, sports and fitness equipment, e-bike cargo bikes, BMX, e-skateboards, hoverboards and e-scooters. You are able to see, touch and test our products and there are plenty of activities such as the kids and teens area.

Past Iterations
Abf 2023
The 2023 iteration of abf signified the event's successful restart. The live trade exhibition, held in Messe Hannover, did not feature coronavirus precautions. This was due to the repealing of the country's pandemic restrictions. The iteration was attended by 91 000 visitants and 500 exhibiting firms. 82% of the visiting would attend the next abf, and 87% would recommend the fair to other industry members.
Abf 2024
The 2024 iteration occurred as a live trade exposition between January 31st and February 4th, 2024. The edition featured more than 86 000 visitants, who examined the wares of over 530 exhibiting firms.
Abf 2025
Feira Abf 2025 occurred as a live trade expo between February 12th and 16, 2025 in Messe Hannover. It featured around 81 000 visitants and 550 exhibiting firms. Over 51% of the visiting group purchased or ordered from the presented wares during the event.

Hotel rooms were not that good at least the standard room was too small and old and very noisy as well; bed not comfortable. I guess that for that price at least superior rooms should be the perfect deal with an hotel like that. Good position close to metro and exhibition very easy to reach. As well not so far from center. Receptionists were not so prepared as they always ask to pay our already included breakfast and their german or english language wasn't always that good.

Comments on this hotel was that the location is perfect, design is interesting, but the Internet connection was horrible. Having in mind that we have all been travelling for a business purposes, this was a real issue. Anyway, thank you for your support and patience in working with us, it was a really big group to handle. 🙂

Good day Tom,
Yes, we have checked out of the H4 Hotel Hannover Messe and we have already successfully returned home! Now there is a lot of work to do with the contact we gained during LIGNA.
As for the hotel, everything was great! Rooms were very clean, beds were soft! We really liked the pool and sauna which was available for the guests - it was a great relaxation after a long day at the exhibition! The only minor issue we ran into was during the check-in. For some reason our bookings was marked as to stay in rooms with one double bed. Thankfully upon our arrival the hotel was not full and employees of the hotel were quick to resolve the mishap with the beds!
