It was held in the Messukeskus Helsinki without implementing coronavirus safeguards. This was because the country countermanded its pandemic restrictions. Matka 2024 occurred as a live trade exposition between 18-21.01.2024 in Messukeskus Helsinki. It featured around 900 exhibiting firms from approximately 70 nations and over 50 000 visitants.
Matka 2025
Matka Nordic Travel Fair 2025 was a live trade expo hosted between 17-19.01.2025 in Messukeskus Helsinki. It showcased the wares of 850 exhibiting firms from approximately 70 nations and was attended by more than 56 000 visitants (representing a 11% increased in comparison to previous iterations).
Matka 2026
Matka 2026 was a live trade expo hosted between 16.01.2026 and 18.01.2026 in Messukeskus Helsinki. It showcased the wares of around 1 000 exhibiting firms from around 60 nations and was attended by 56 400 visitants.

The location of the hotel was great since it was all walking distance. Facility was not as nice as I expected but the maintenance was good enough. However, although I booked for the twin bed, I got the room with a double bed. Nevertheless, again, the location was great. There was a supermarket right next to it and a nice cozy cafe across the street. I would stay at the same hotel again.
