Formex August 2026 will occur as a live trade show between the 25th and the 27th of August 2026 at Stockholmsmässan. Stockholmsmässan AB is hard at work and believes in the power of physical trade shows to get back stronger and better than ever.
Preface
The Formex Trade Show (Formex) is an international interior design trade exhibition. It occurs on a semi-annual basis at Stockholmsmassan. It overviews the latest trends within the industry and its related segments. This is achieved via various wares such as textiles, clothing, jewellery, spa products, toys, et cetera. More than 1 700 exhibitors present these. They include leading designers, producers, and manufacturers. More than 43 000 visitors attend to examine their wares. Such include importers, foreign buyers, vendors, and wholesale traders. 93% of the visitor group have purchasing influence, including 71% with a leadership position such as manager, buyer, or company owner. 86% of the group consider the fair pivotal for their business operations. Similarly, 65% procure new suppliers via the trade exhibition. Apart from such participants, the event also receives over 1 150 media representatives.
About the Formex Fair
Formex features a diverse range of showstoppers. Among them are the Formex Conference, the Formex Talks, the Design Talents, the Formex Academy, and the Sustainability Award. Formex’s exhibitor list features leading companies such as:

Many industries attend the trade exhibition. Among them are the gifts, watches, clocks, jewellery, craft, fashion, furniture, lighting, textile, stationery, toys, and home & lifestyle sectors.
Formex Accommodation

Past Editions
Formex August 2022
The iteration took place as a live event between the 23rd and 26th of August 2022. It was held at the Stockholmsmässan. The venue did not feature coronavirus safeguards. This was due to the removal of the country's restrictions related to the pandemic. The event received 297 exhibitors.
Formex January 2023
The iteration was held between the 17th and 20th of January, 2023. It was hosted at the Stockholmsmassan in Stockholm. The venue did not feature coronavirus safeguards similar to the 2022 August iteration. This was because of the removal of the country’s restrictions related to the pandemic. Formex January 2023 featured over 180 exhibitors.
Formex August 2023
Formex August 2023 occurred as a live trade exposition between the 22nd and 25th of August 2023. It was hosted at the Stockholmsmässan. It featured over 380 exhibiting firms and 14 specialist speakers.
Formex January 2024
Formex January 2024 occurred as a live trade exposition between the 16th and 18th of January 2024. It was hosted in Stockholmsmässan and featured approximately 290 exhibiting firms and around 10 000 visitants during the last day of the event.
Formex August 2024
Formex Augusti 2024 was a live trade exposition held between the 27th and 29th of August 2024 in Stockholmsmässan. The event was attended by more than 350 exhibiting firms and around 25 000 visitants, as well as approximately 800 media representatives.
Formex January 2025
Formex Mässan 2025 was a live trade expo held between the 17th and 19th of January 2025 in Stockholmsmässan. It was attended by over 240 exhibiting firms.
Formex August 2025
Formex 2025 Augusti was a live trade expo in Stockholmsmässan held between the 26th and 28th of August 2025. It was attended by more than 235 exhibiting firms.
Formex January 2026
Formex 2026 Januari was a live trade expo in Stockholmsmässan hosted between the 20th and 22nd of January 2026. It featured more than 260 exhibiting firms and over 7 000 visitants.

Thanks for everything, sorry for the confusion. I still own you a feedback from Hamburg. The Apartment Hotel - The location was not that bad, considering you are going there for the SMM show not for holiday. I had a subway station 10-12 min walk distance which was very useful , 3.20 Euro /day I was going back and forward from the exhibition center. - At the Hotel .base floor, they have a small restaurant and bar, but near the hotel at a 15m min range walk, you can find something to eat like, Pizza`s, McDonalds, Chinese Restaurant, Turkish Restaurant, German beer house with brezzels and sausages, etc - The room was a decent one, you can feel is an old Hotel by the building construction and the furniture vintage alike that gives you the impression of the `90`s, but they were clean, and looking good. - The room cleaning was ok, and also the guys from the front desk were quite polite and helpful. - Breakfast area was large which I like it the most, you did not feel crowded having many tables where to sit. The diversity was ok, nothing special, but looking clean and lots of personnel available for the coffer, table cleaning/arranging, etc - The down points are that rooms do not have A/C , the single room, has two small beds with separate mattresses put together, so if you want to roll over you will have a gap in the middle, so anyway you will use only one single bed. They say that the tap water is drinkable in Germany , but a hotel that respects its status, should offer complementary water bottle every day for the ones who prefer to stay safe, there wa sonly one 1L bottle at the first day and that`s it, I mean it costs 1Euro , you can add it to the room costs. The bathroom was only with liquid soap, no shower gel or shampoo. This is the most honest feedback you will get…

HI Christine,
I have just returned from my trip as I went to London after the fair. The hotel was great. Really close to the fair and easy to get to each day by walking.
We did really struggle to get taxis each night during the fair from the hotel to the city centre as there were no restaurants around the hotel. The hotel restaurant was good but expensive and you didn’t want to eat there each time.
