Preface
The CERSAIE tile show (CERSAIE or Fiera di CERSAIE) is an international trade exhibition of pivotal importance to several sectors. This includes the ceramics, interior design, bathroom furnishings, and construction industries. It occurs annually at Fiera Bologna and attracts representatives of the entire value chain, including architects, interior designers, building contractors, public administrations, consultants, the public, and manufacturers. This results in an annual attendance of over 64 000 participants. This includes over 600 exhibitors, over 62 000 visitors, and more than 460 media representatives. It should be noted that over 30% of the participant group represents a foreign country. This includes over 200 exhibitors, more than 24 000 visitors and around 150 journalists. Such participants attend to complete various business goals, including studying new trends and innovations, networking with industry representatives and exchanging knowledge. Among the countries to visit CERSAIE are China, Mexico, Turkey, India, Germany, the United States, Egypt, and Australia.

Past Iterations
CERSAIE 2021
CERSAIE 2021 occurred as a face-to-face event between 27.09.2021 and 1.10.2021 at the Bologna Fiere. Sixty-two thousand nine hundred forty-three trade visitors and 623 exhibitors attended the edition. The exhibition included rigorous coronavirus safeguards, including social distance regulations, the mandatory wearing of masks and others. The edition was considered to be a success.
CERSAIE 2022
Feria CERSAIE 2022 received more than 90 000 visitants, with more than 44 000 travelling from abroad. They examined the wares of 624 exhibitors from 27 countries on 140,000 m2 of event space. Additionally, 458 journalists attended CERSAIE Italia 2022. The venue, Bologna Fiere, did not feature coronavirus safeguards because of the removal of the country's domestic restrictions related to the pandemic.
CERSAIE 2023
Feria CERSAIE 2023 occurred as a live trade exposition that featured a total of 633 exhibiting firms from 27 nations and more than 99 000 visitants. 39% of the exhibitants were from abroad. The event space spanned 145 000 m2. Like CERSAIE Italia 2022, the 40th-anniversary iteration did not feature coronavirus precautions.
CERSAIE 2024
Fiera Cersaie 2024 was a live trade expo that featured the wares of more than 600 exhibiting firms from 25 nations, 38% from abroad. They were overviewed by over 95 300 visitants.
CERSAIE 2025
Fiera CERSAIE 2025 was a live trade expo which featured around 630 exhibiting firms from approximately 30 nations and 95 000 visitants (47.5% from abroad) on 155 000 m2.

We were very satisfied with the STAYERY Frankfurt Sachsenhausen. The rooms were great and the location worked very well for us. It took us around 20 minutes by car to reach CPHI in the morning, which was perfect.
The only very small downside is that our rooms were not all located close to each other – only 2 out of 4 colleagues had rooms next to each other. This is not a major issue at all, more of a small detail, but I am mentioning it as feedback.
I will try to complete the questionnaire later today.
Regarding your question about preliminary rates for next year, as far as we know, the 2026 edition of CPHI will be held in Milan, not in Frankfurt – which is why I am not sure I fully understand the proposal to review hotel rates for the same hotel next year. Could you clarify this point?

Dear Mark, Sorry to reply this late! I have just got back to Taiwan after this long business trip – the K was very successful and thank you for asking. I would love to take a while to give you mine, and my Teammates’ feedback about the accommodation. Overall impression: Very good value for money! Pros: 1. Great location – it took 2 minutes to walk to the metro station and then 20 more minutes on the train to get to the fair. 2. Lots of restaurants and shops around – very convenient! 3. Rooms were big and clean, and we had plenty of space for our suitcases. 4. Comfortable beds, central heating and big bathrooms. 5. We will definitely consider it for the next K! it fulfilled most of our requirements! Having said all that I know you would like to know about the cons. I do not try to attack you, as you don’t run the hotel, but for your reference and future customers you should be aware of the down side of the hotel; 1. There was no internet connection in the rooms – I think it was the biggest problem for us, as we had to receive emails and work in the lobby – the only place with the internet connection. You must know that the lobby was in a different building across the street! So this was not what I had in mind when ordering the rooms – Wi-Fi connection in the room is the most important thing when searching hotels for myself and my Team. The lobby was also a bar and a restaurant at the same time so it was inconvenient for us and other patrons to work there. The staff of the hotel did nothing upon my request to fix the connection in at least some of our rooms. 2. Great location – unfortunately it comes with a price – the area was busy and loud every night and for the whole night, the windows didn’t block all of the noise of breaking glass and drunken singing. As I said at the beginning it was good value for money, and we would still chose this one! Knowing it was loud and there was no internet would not stop us from ordering it, but it would give us heads up and chance to mentally prepare. I hope my feedback was helpful and you will communicate with the hotel the need for Wi-Fi.
