ABOUT THE VENUE
Inaugurated in 1981, Palexpo is one of the leading venues in Switzerland. It is a spacious event venue which after extensive renovations and expansions has reached a total exhibition space of 106,000 m2. This comprises seven exposition halls as well as sport fields, including one for tennis that can accommodate 18,400 spectators. Sustainability is one of the primary goals of the event venues owners and managers due to which the venue feature high usage of renewable sources for the generation of electricity. Additionally, the venue has 2,800 parking spaces to ensure the comfort of participants travelling by car.
