Messe Ostwestfalen was constructed and inaugurated in the early 1970s, that underwent various expansions, including between 1990 and 2008. It was during this renovation period that four new exhibition halls were added, resulting in the expansion of the event space to a total of 80,000 m2. This includes 23 exhibition halls, various lecture areas and on-site catering locations.
