McCormick Place

McCormick Place is among the US's largest event complexes. It is a 4-building complex with a total event area of 2,600,000 ft2 (0.24 km²). The venue was constructed in 1958 and inaugurated in 1960, with expansions undertaken in 1986 and 2017. The four buildings are the West, North, and South Buildings and the Lakeside Center. The venue features around 184 event spaces. These include 173 meeting rooms, three 300-seat theatres, a 4,192-seat theatre, four ballrooms, an 18,000-seat assembly area, and a 10,000-seat arena. The venue features diverse service areas, including on-site catering. Additionally, the buildings have access to 6,000 parking spaces.
