Hillhead Quarry

Hillhead Quarry is a peculiar yet premier event complex near Buxton, England. It is a gated limestone quarry of around 175 000 m2. 105 000 m2 of this space is allocated to outdoor show spaces. These showcase various construction or quarrying equipment and buildings. Another 35 000 m2 of the available space is devoted to real-time demonstration areas. The facility features eight event spaces, including four demonstration sites. They are Processing Demo, Recycling Demo, Quarry Face, Registration Demo, the two Pavilions, the “Ramp”, and the Quarry Floor. Since 1983, Hillhead Quarry has hosted noteworthy construction and quarrying events.
