Jacob K. Javits Convention Center

The Jacob K. Javits Convention Center (Javits Center) is one of New York's premier event complexes. It is a venue that was inaugurated in 1989 and expanded circa 2019-2021. It features over 1,200,000 ft2 (0.11 km²) of event space on four floors and high sustainability. The space comprises over 90 meeting event areas, including 40 meeting rooms and around ten exhibition halls. The venue's high sustainability is due to the various improvements and additions of the 2019-2021 expansion project. This included the addition of a 1-acre rooftop farm which produces up to 40,000 pounds (ca. 18,144 kg) of fruit and vegetables. The venue's meeting areas span a diverse range of capacities – from 150 to 3,500 participants.
