Kind und Jugend 2021 – successful restart as a hybrid event
Kind +Jugend’s 2021 edition marked the successful restart of the popular baby and toddler outfitting fair. The event took place between the 9th and 11th of September 2021 as a hybrid event. The edition was considered successful by both organisers, visitors, and exhibitors. The high level of attendance confirms the importance of the trade fair. Kind+Jugend 2021 took place as a hybrid event between 9.09.2021 and 11.09.2021. The leading baby and toddler outfitting fair was available as an in-person exhibition at Messe Cologne. It was also available online via the Kind+Jugend@home platform. This allowed attendees of the fair to visit both in-person and remotely. This was helpful for attendants who cannot visit Germany due to travel restrictions. The hybrid format was a first for the trade show. The edition marked the successful restart of the event, which in 2020 had to be cancelled due to the pandemic.

Many of the attendees online were from countries different from Germany. Overall, the edition featured good visitor turnout. This applied especially for the DACH region and its European neighbours. Both exhibitors, trade visitors and organisers consider the hybrid event to be successful. As a result of the successful restart, organisers will host Kind+Jugend 2022. The digital platform will remain available until the end of October 2021. It will also receive further expansions for the 2022 edition of the trade fair. The next edition of the popular baby and toddler outfitting fair will occur between 8.09.2022 and 10.09.2022.
