ABOUT THE VENUE
The Makuhari Messe (derived from the name of the area and the German word for trade fair) is a 168,578 m2 event complex. It comprises 34 meeting areas. The venue is located within the Mihama-Ku section of the city of Chiba. The locale was inaugurated in 1989 and expanded in 1997. The 34 meeting areas include 11 spacious exhibition halls with a total space of 72,000 m2. They also feature 22 meeting rooms incorporated into the International Conference Centre. The multipurpose Makuhari Event Hall, which features an arena, completes the available meeting areas.
