Jardin des Tuileries

The Jardin des Tuileries (The Tuileries Garden) is a historical garden in Paris. It derives its name from the former tile workshops that were present at the location. The Tuileries Garden was established in 1564, with the formal French design done by Andre Le Notre, a renowned architect and gardener. In 1664, the Jardin des Tuileries was re-landscaped, and in 1667 it was opened to the public.
