ABOUT THE VENUE
The Calvin L. Rampton Convention Center, or the Salt Palace, is a premier event venue with 987,000 ft2 (0.09 km²) of convention centre space. It features ten exhibition halls totalling 515,000 ft2 (0.05 km²) and 67 meeting rooms with a total area of 164,000 ft2 (0.02 km²). The venue also features a 45,000 ft2 (ca. 4,181 m²) ballroom. The venue is the third structure to bear the Salt Palace name and was created in 1995. Its alternative name is derived from the 11th governor of Utah, after whom the venue was named as a commemoration.
