ABOUT THE VENUE
The Asilomar Conference Grounds is a historic venue in California with 65 000 ft2 of event space. It was constructed between 1913 and 1929. The site receives its name from the Spanish term “asilo al mar” (refuge by the sea). The venue was designated a National Historic Landmark in 1987. The Asilomar Conference Grounds feature 30 event spaces and 27 breakout spaces ranging from 256 ft2 (23.78 m²) to 5,703 ft2 (529.83 m²). The occupancy capacities also vary – from six participants to 650 attendants. All event areas feature access to natural sunlight via expansive windows, heating via fireplaces and modern amenities such as high-speed internet. There is plenty of parking on the site grounds.
